no vegetables nor fruits for breakfast, only buns, ham, sausage, cheese, marmelade, butter and cereals. hotel would need some rejuvenation, definitely from the outside, but it is still old school kind of hotel and it is charming.

clean, good location next to Coimbra railway station (but no noise is heard).

The staff was very helpful and Family-like. I never missed my parents during the trip as they were gurdian like. And the cleanliness was superb, everyday while I came back from my meeting I found the room Perfectly clean and nicely maintained.

For me , nothing, especially for the price I paid.

This is an older hotel and its obvious of another era , so you have older tv s , but who cares why would you watch tv in such a beautiful city. however it is perfectly clean, and adjacent to great restaurants and cafes. You can walk all the attractions . A walk along the river and around the park was amazing on a fall day.the vale for money was the selling point. The cost of the room with breakfast was incredible. The hotel is very quiet as well.

I was in a budget single room, so just wanted a cheap place to stay - but bed was squeaky & hard. Bit noisy late at night & early morning, as I was next to stairs/lifts & the first room on that particular corridor. Hotel is a bit 'tired' looking, but cheap - I was only there one night, so did me!

Location is superb if travelling by train! I contacted them as I was arriving before official check in time to see if I could drop off my luggage in arrival, they said yes. When I got there, my room was ready so could put my luggage straight in! Very close to river, restaurants & bars. Top tip, turn left out of hotel, go to corner, cross pedestrian crossing, turn left, then turn right opposite Hotel Oslo - lots of fabulous little shops in the back streets! Breakfast was good for the price paid - croissants, fresh rolls, cheese, ham, chorizo, cereals, yoghurts, juices, tea/coffee etc. Room was what I expected, just like in photo's - plenty of hot water - instant in shower too, no waiting for it to come through! Huge bath towel, hand towel, face cloth & mat for floor outside shower. Small bar of soap & a sachet of shower gel.

Small space in the room with old-fashioned elevator.

Good location, 10 yards distance from railway station. Public transport are available nearby, like taxi and bus (Line103 to University). Indoor facilities decorations are classic and fascinated. Most importantly, the price is really cost-effective.

Furniture is not of modern style... Hotel is near a train station.

Hotel Bragança is close to the city center which is good for those travelers that are thinking of a short stay in Coimbra. I had a good night sleep, heard no street noise whatsoever! Good buffet breakfast that even had honey! Nice, professional staff that helped me finding a good place to listen to Fado.

The only thing one can complain about is a view from the window - on a courtyard apparently undergoing a construction of a new building.

The overall atmosphere of a past grandeur - it is like being moved in time back to the 80s, all in a positive sense. Nothinf like contemporary boring chain hotels. A great experience thanks to the very nice stuff and a good selection of food at breakfast.

Old fashioned, dark and dismal, 30 years out of date, breakfast cheap and poor quality. The hotel is adjacent to the railway station, very noisy. Spent 1 night and moved a few hundred yards to the ibis centre, modern hotel with excellent facilities, booked the other two nights there, also cheaper.

This hotel needs to be updated. Bedroom Furniture is old but well cared for; however, a cover over the boxspring, even a fitted sheet, would have added to the ambiance. The carpet is very old and no amount of cleaning is going to bring it back to its original.

Located across the road from the railway station, this is an excellently located hotel for a short stay in Coimbra. In one of the bedrooms, the bathroom was very smelly. There was also something pointy on the floor to hold the door which was very dangerous and could hurt someone's foot when coming out of the bath tube. Wi-Fi didn't work in any of the rooms and we had to go out to the corridor to get some signal. Pillows were too thin, although the receptionist gave us a few extra. They cleaned our room even though we put a "don't disturb" sign and we had left our luggage open thinking nobody would come in, but nothing disappeared, which is a good thing.

Location couldn't be better for those coming with the train, just a few steps away from the train station. The breakfast was very good and the elevator made our stay with 2 small kids easier.

No recomiendo en absoluto este hotel. - bad service, bad disposition, old hotel. - The room, small, very very small, noise air conditioner, tv broken. - Not fresh breakfast. - Finally, i travelled with a small, friendly and well educated dog, couldn´t leave it alone at room, even one hour, so i had to carry it, 37 grades in street. - Because of that, I couldn´t visit anything in Coimbra. - For all this reasons, take in consideration to choose other hotel in Coimbra, it´s many to choose.
