Fabiana made everything feel like home. Right upon arrival, she allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. She toured us around to show us the amenities as well as showed us the the amazing kitchen with a nice common area. Don't have sunscreen? It was provided. No plugs or beach equipment? No stress because she got you covered. That extra step made everything feel perfect. Even though we were only there for 2 nights, it was truly an amazing and comfortable stay! PS if you're looking to get away from the noise this is the spot, it was very quiet at night.

Fabienne was the most amazing host. Right from the start she sent recommendations of restaurants. One morning there was a spread of croissants for the guests in the kitchen and she even gave us free beers. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Every single part of a perfect stay was thought of.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and modern, with a beautiful outdoor area that was perfect for having breakfast and relaxing. The location was ideal, in a quiet area, but just a few minutes' walk to the main town and very close to the beaches. Parking was easy to find on the street and free. The host was wonderful, very accommodating and always available with excellent communication. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Casa Amarela! Fabiana and Paulo are amazing hosts, super kind and they take care of every little detail. They gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with a balcony, such a nice surprise! The room was great, very comfy bed, a TV, and an AC for the warm nights. The rooftop pool is awesome and the solarium with sunbeds is perfect to chill. And the best part: I found out Fabiana and Paulo are also from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, just like me! Such a great coincidence. Thank you so much for everything! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

From the moment we arrived, we have never felt so genuinely welcomed — it was absolutely perfect. Every little detail has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The place truly has everything you could need: suncream and aftersun, beach towels and umbrellas, even adaptors if you’ve forgotten yours. It’s those thoughtful extras that make such a difference and really set this place apart. The accommodation itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. You can tell how much care is taken to keep it clean and inviting. It’s in a lovely, quiet location which made it so peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s only a short walk to the beach — the best of both worlds. Honestly, I can’t fault a single thing about our stay. We felt right at home from day one, and everything exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back — I don’t think we’d want to stay anywhere else!

Not one thing - it was a delightful location Highly recommend a visit

Fabiana was an amazing host, she had sent all relevant information about arrival etc beforehand. We were made to feel at home from the start. Breakfast was great and the added bonus of fresh pastries most days ( had not realized breakfast was included) The communal area and pool area were amazing, the kitchen had absolutely everything* you could have imagined. Fabiana had it all covered, no shortage of towels or beach towels, she even had beach umbrellas and sun creams etc available at no extra charge . It was such a good location 5-6 mins walk to beach and great family run convenience store right next door Would highly recommend and we will be returning .

This place is amazing and the host Fabiana is even better 😊 if there is anything you need she has already done it, the location is perfect 5 minutes from the main square, rooms are spotless and the outside areas with pool are lovely and chilled, we received complementary wine and beers in our room as it was my wife's birthday during our stay 😁 We have stayed in lots of hotels and guest houses but never one run as well as this! Fabiana really knows how to make you feel welcome and caters for all your needs. Can't wait to come back

We are go glad we booked Fabiana’s property, she is the most welcoming host and nothing seemed too much bother. The room was just as described and very clean. Such a lovely 'home from home' style, intimate hotel. Close enough to the old town that evenings out are just a short walk, but being far enough away to enjoy having a pool and quiet in the evenings. Shop and friendly bar very close by. Very helpful and friendly host. Access to a kitchen, fridge/freezer, drinking water and places outside to relax 24/7 was also very useful. Would highly recommend and will for sure be returning!

We liked the Casa Amarela because how comfortable, clean, decoration, and the little touches that made it feels just like grandma's house. She is so generous she even offers to wash your cloths, and bring amazing breakfast.

I picked this Guesthouse because of the excellent reviews and they could not have been more accurate. Fabiana and her Daughter could not have done more to make me feel welcome. An absolute hidden gem. From the breakfast (available in peak season) to the fact that they have items available for use such as beach umbrellas and towels, it has everything needed to enjoy Albufeira. Also a short, safe walk from the old town. It was like visiting family and I will definitely be back :)

The host was amazing couldn’t do enough for us. Complimentary small breakfast selection during summer months. Gave us lots of restaurant and activity recommendations. Place was clean and quiet. Facilities were lovely had a shaded Garden and a pool area to relax. Host left some snacks for us on our early departure to the airport, really went the extra mile the whole trip! Sun cream, adapters, sun hats etc all available to use on the property. Would definitely go back if visiting again

The only downside which is not the fault of the host is that it was very loud at night - the walls must be thin because we were woken up by other doors slamming every night. Just be aware if you are a light sleeper.

Fabiana goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy - she is such a wonderful host. There are so many amenities that are provided by the property which were helpful to us traveling with minimal luggage. We had a wonderful stay.

Everything was really good. The only thing I would caution about is that it’s up a hill (the whole area is hilly it’s not that this accommodation is alone). So if you have mobility issues it’s best to research first and maybe chose a different area. We’re able bodied and the walk was pleasant to the beach within 15 minutes and the same for the old town.

Everywhere was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the aircon was very good. The pool area was beautiful - we used it for a few hours both days, it’s very peaceful. The shower was powerful and a good temperature. There were lots of extras that I wouldn’t expect at this price point - beach toys, umbrellas, plug adapters etc. I left my book there once I’d finished reading it to begin a book swap too :-) Fresh towels if you want them, an iron and hairdryer. All of the staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were offered our room a bit later on the last day without asking. But we didn’t need it as there’s a clean and lovely shower area you can use if your flight is later in the day like ours was.
