The owner invited us to park our car inside his house - he charged 10 EUR/day afterwards without announcing it.

Casa S Tiago is a quaint and historical house in Evora - great location. Run by the owner who greets you and welcomes you to his Hotel. Full of antiques - your room lock is 200 years old -but is safe !! Parking is in enclosed garage attached to hotel and you MUST call ahead to reserve (you literally park in the single car garage with room for two cars). Breakfast is uninspiring but does the trick.

There was parking close by but during the day you had to pay the meter and the maximum time was 5 hours so you had to be sure to return to refill the meter.

We were in Evora mainly to see the Cathedral and this location was extremely close. Very well located for that.

Nothing, people should be aware that you are in a B&B not a hotel, which is what we liked.

A lovely warm welcome from the owner, it's an historic building in the centre of Evora, parking is only for 2 cars in the garage, street parking is available outside. Lots of great restaurants, bars & historic buildings within a few minutes walk. Wifi was excellent considering the thickness of the internal walls.

    Nothing.

If you have ever wondered how it would be to stay in a Victorian mansion this is your chance !!! This property should be a museum. The furniture and appointments are straight out of the late 1800's. The building itself is about 450 years old. It's a star of the silver screen from the 20's. You can see the elegance and former glory everywhere, and like the aging star there are some wrinkles. However if you concentrate on the wrinkles you are really missing the charms. The owner is a lovely character who will make sure your visit the best. Even has private parking. Just loved it here !!!

The breakfast was terrible. Very little choice and quantity. The fruit on offer was rotting in the bowl.

We had a suite which had an enormous bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The building is 450 years old and public and private areas were beautifully furnished with period furniture. The owner provided excellent advice on nearby places to visit. The town of Evora is a joy to visit with a mediaeval centre and some roman remains.

It can be noisy. These beautiful old houses were not built with double-glazing or soundproofing. But it adds to the atmosphere of the town. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs and enjoy the charm of this place.

This charming and authentic casa is located right in the middle of the old town, with easy access to everything. Frank, the host, was just as charming, and helpful, even offering to drive me to the bus station. The room was airy and spacious with a huge marble bathroom, including a large bath to soak in after all the walking you will do around this beautiful town.Breakfast was simple but plentiful and the coffee was great.Given the thickness of the old walls, I had doubts about the WiFi but is was good.
