I highly recommend this hotel. The facilities are very nice and the owners were exceptional! Breakfast was very delicious. Later that night we sat on the terrace with wine and enjoyed the beautiful views of the river and surrounding wine country. Tua is a very cute town.

You could explain in the web site the hotel is next to the station. I thought I had to get a taxi up the mountain. Instead I only had to walk across thd tracks. Maybe I missed that bit of info.

The view was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing, scrambled eggs as well as homemade cake and fresh orange juice. Only my walk around the town was a big confusing. The diagram was hard to follow.

This is our second visit to Casa do Tua it is a beautiful location and very scenic. The breakfast is excellent with many choices and the lady serving was very friendly and accommodating There is a very good restaurant next door and the hotel is easily accessible on the train station

We were checked in by Jose, who gave us a run down of the accommodation as well as a leaflet with tips and information on local attractions. He also happily gave me a kettle and cups for our room. We had a twin bedded room with private bathroom. All linen and towels were of good quality and size. There was plentiful hot water and two bottles of water were supplied. Wifi was excellent. The room had a river view which was lovely and adjacent to our room was a shared balcony. There was plenty of free parking outside and we ate at the restaurant next door. It was very quiet, even the adjacent railway didn’t intrude. The buffet breakfasts was varied and fresh. We were offered freshly cooked scrambled eggs. There was an outside eating area where we sat and watched the River Cruisers go by.

The house is super cute, with a balcony with a stunning view over the river. The place is very peaceful and you got everything you need to cook, to chill and to relax. Jose was super nice and his father made us a huge favor waiting us till late for the late check in! We couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool due to the rainy and cold weather, but it looked awesome!! Great great value for the money!!

Super clean hotel, lovely old feel building with very comfortable amenities, nice helping staff, beautiful views from bedroom and stunning pool which we enjoyed heaps. Bed was comfortable and room was quaint. Nice breakfast, yummy eggs and I really enjoyed the occasionally offered savoury cake dipped in the homemade tomato jam - delicious! Lovely walks nearby next to the river and up the mountain Located conveniently right near the train station. Jose also organised a boat trip to Pinhao for us which turned out to be really lovely by Delta Tours. All in all, we loooved our trip here. Thank you team!

Amazing location but a long winding mountain drive to reach the hotel.

Lovely array of options for breakfast in a beautiful large dining room. Wonderful river views. Swimming pool a bonus after a long drive.
