Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis accommodation is in a shared building with residents that live above that went to bed late. The train also runs behind the property and I heard it several times while I was trying to sleep. Once I put in my earplugs I was fine.
I stayed in the double bed in a private room. I shared the bathroom with the other guest all who were very quiet. The room is comfortable and the host is very kind. Moledo is a cool village with a beach and many restaurants.

United StatesThis is an apartment and wasn’t immediately easy to figure out where it was located. Because it’s in an apartment building by the railway and on the Main Street it isn’t quiet. However, for the price it is great, clean accommodation.
Clean budget accommodation. Good communication from owner.

United StatesI would have liked a common space a small kitchen. The water is not drinkable so be sure to have what you need on hand.
My room was beautiful and peaceful. It had a nice space to hang clothes. The owner was very helpful.

HungaryThe train tracks are right next to the house, so it can be quite noisy until about 11pm and from about 6-7am. If you are a light sleeper you will need earplugs. The town has no "lavanderia", so if you need to wash your clothes, you'll need to go to the previous or next town - both of them can be reached by train though in a few minutes, and the station is right next to the house.
The double room was very nice, nice shared bathroom. We were alone, too. Our host was very friendly and gave us all the info we needed. She even allowed me to check in early, as I arrived 2 hours ahead of time.

CanadaOnly thing that could be added is an electric kettle.
Very clean and new. Beds very comfortable with clean sheets lots of blankets and pillows and a room heater. Location was excellent. One block from beach and on the corner is a great cafe with best cappuccino we’ve had and very good pastries. Two really good pizza places on the block and lots of restaurants and bars on the beach a block away. Would definitely stay again

New ZealandNo sound proofing from the neighbour above , who listened to TV late at night at high volume. Very easily heard was the barking of his dog and its claws on the floor which was above your bed. It was difficult to sleep even after a day spent walking the Camino. Recommend ear plugs
Helpful host, convenient location. Nearby places to purchase food. Pretty beach.

Canadait's a bit on the pricier side for a hostel but at least you get a warm blanket!
I was on the camino and this is my stop before the next town. it's pretty much at the center of the town, an older building but everything is good and I had a comfortable stay.

United KingdomThe property had no facilities other than one bathroom between 8 people (when full) there are 2 sets of bunks in one room and 2 twin/double rooms sharing one bathroom. The bathroom is a shower over a bath (no plug). There is no kind of seating. There is no kettle or microwave. No fridge or even counter to prepare any food. I feel the space would be better suited to 6 beds with some shared facilities for guests. As mentioned before, there is a noisy railway and road outside.
The bedroom was nicely decorated. The host was communicative and helpful. We were allowed in early, although the check-in time of 5pm was unusually late.

GermanyWe were a family of 4 on the Camino and stayed at Casa Moledo. It is a town before Caminha. The place is affordable and clean. There are a few great restaurants right around the corner of the place. We received a warm welcome from the owner of the place upon arrival.
