The swimming pool is very cold indeed.

This place felt like an oasis. It is beautiful. The old Portuguese house is so tasteful and elegant. The extension is well integrated that it doesn't spoil the old house. The gardens are stunning and contain many hidden areas that it's a delight to discover them. At the beginning we thought that we would have breakfast in the town but having sampled one on our first morning we decided to have breakfast there every day because it was so delicious. I treated myself to a massage on our last day and it was one of the best I have ever experienced. Well done Tanya!

We had a suite with kitchenette and balcony in the old part of the hotel. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our adult children were in the new part and their rooms were equally as good. The breakfast for 10 euros was well worth it. The pool was perfect. Location was perfect an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of old Cascais with lots of bars, restaurants and beaches.

Beautiful boutique hotel set in an oasis of a garden, very peaceful and lovely! Nice location, very easy to walk to restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. Room was lovely and very well equipped. Pools were very nice.

Nice room with big balcony. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Free cake and coffee in the evening. Beautiful gardens. Really great place for a relaxing holiday.

The gardener using a power tool to cut hedges and lawns while people were sunbathing and relaxing in the afternoon by the pool. Totally wrong to do this when guests are there. Surely he could do this early evening after guests have left the area or in the morning before guests lie by the pool.

Our only complaint was the super firm mattress and very soft pillows.

The property is a hidden gem. The gardens were simply breathtaking. We could’ve spent everyday just walking around and enjoying the beauty. We loved how each room had privacy and its own balcony and garden view. We loved the two pools and the sauna. The outdoor bar was a nice touch. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The property grounds are absolutely stunning and a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the main parts of town. But, the gardens are so beautiful you could spend the whole time there to relax. Also loved the very sweet cat, ducks and fish ponds. The staff were incredibly helpful and the lovely woman behind the bar was so sweet.

An oasis of peace and tranquility a short walk from the beach and old town area. We had a really relaxing break after a busy few days in Lisbon. We rented the house bikes and did the cycle up the coast to Guincho beach which is spectacular. The room was perfect!

Breakfast was abundant. Had lots of different fruits (ripe melon, ripe papaya, kiwis), meats, cheese, breads. Also you could fresh squeeze your own orange juice. Room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was great. Little terrace to sit outside. The grounds and pool were spectacular to me. There was a service bar near the pool and the young lady who was working was very warm and hospitable. There are so many beautiful trees, plants and statues on the grounds. Very tranquil space. "Living room" is a design inspiration for me. Elegant, charming and comfortable. I really loved this property and wish I stayed longer. This is a place you can really relax. There was even a sweet little resident girl cat roaming and climbing. What a life! Also, big plus for me was the bike rental. 15 Euro half day; 20 for the full day. I rode to Guincho and back. All the staff working were great! Very accomodating and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I asked before I arrived if my husband could come and stay on the last night which I was told was no problem. I had paid for the room before arriving. I was charged an additional amount of €80 when I arrived - which I understand - but I should have been told prior to arrival about this.

It is a lovely place to stay - I would come again. The staff are very helpful and the gardens are just so peaceful. The decor is beautifully done.
