Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The room was large and very comfortable. The staff made my experience. It was a busy time with a tennis tournament yet they gave me all the attention I needed and greeted me by name each time I called or came by the desk. They were very professional and personal.

The air conditioner had a problem and it required several times to get it fixed and there was no offer to change to another room. Also, the housekeeper knocking the door at 10pm to clean the room is not acceptable.
Everything was amazing from the staff to the food, the location, the facilities, the spa, the pool. Lovely stay and will come back!

The breakfast was mediocre, which was surprising considering the excellence everywhere else.
Comfort, location, service and food in the restaurant and bar was excellent. The spa is fantastic and the sea views stunning. The Wi-Fi was good and there were a number of quiet corners in which to do some work.

It takes about 40mn to get to the centre of Lisbon, but I didn't mind, as we got more of the seaside resort vibe.
I had an amazing stay. The hotel is gorgeous, with great interior design, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the spa area was spectacular. The staff and service were flawless. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent.

This year, the hotel made rooms with a sea view more expensive, than a regular room. Last 2 years we could just get a room with a sea view for a regular price, but not anymore, so that’s a bit upsetting
Our 3rd time coming here and every time is just wonderful! Spacious, luxurious, and big rooms, phenomenal breakfast, great staff and amazing spa! It’s always a blast staying here

Hard to regulate temperature - when I left the room, the aircon would turn off and the room would get hot, then it got too cold with zircon running - it was really difficult to get it comfortable, but it did not in any way spoil my stay!
Gorgeous view - I got a room with the ocean view and it was spectacular. The breakfast was very good, wide selection, and with the possibility of eating outs on the terrace, again, with the view of the ocean and pool. Staff was very accommodating - I made 2 bookings for 3 nights, and they managed to combine them so that I did not have to move rooms, and also allowed for later check out. Amazing terrace in the room and a bathtub with the view of the ocean. It was divine!

The staff at breakfast were lovely and always attentive. On the other hand we thought the staff at the reception were rather rude and snobbish. For example on our first day on arrival there was no good afternoon or good morning. I had to stand there and wait for them to finish their conversation, until finally being checked in. On the other days, again always rather snobbish and almost felt as if they are doing is a favor.
It’s location is perfectly located. The Spa facilities and gym are excellent. The breakfast is well served. Housekeeping staff very attentive.

Its expensive
Large rooms, great view, good breakfast. Large bathroom and amazing pool facilities. The use of the Holmes Place gym was also so convenient. About 1km walk to town but the beaches were closer and a large grocery store about 300m away.

It was very hard to manage the water temperature on the shower. The mattress was old with body shapes from use.
The location is marvellous. The building has some years but is well preserved. The spa area is amazing.

My daughter has Coeliacs Disease and there was very little gluten free choice at breakfast or even on the menu.
The location is amazing and the pool was lovely. Room was very spacious with a lovely balcony looking out to the sea
