There was no mosquito net on the window, so ... beware.

The room was properly cleaned every day. The location is very good (I choose the property because of that) - there is a metro station nearby that directly connects to the airport.

Nothing as everything was top class.

The Boavista Guest house is in a great location to stay while visiting Porto. The metro station is only a few minutes walk away. It is close to the city centre and all its attractions. This is our third time staying there, and we will stay there again next time we visit. We had an early flight home and they obliged us by giving us an early breakfast. This was highly appreciated. The Guest house is spotless and the staff could not do enough for us. The overall experience was outstanding and we look forward to our next stay there. A nice touch was the complimentary glass of Port on arrival.

My friend and I both paid the same amount for a single room and whilst I was provided free breakfast he wasn’t for some reason.

Good price and location, friendly and helpful staff.

The pillows and the bed weren't to our taste, but that being said, we really like firm mattresses and pillows. Our neighbours also wanted to take showers after midnight a couple of times, this was quite loud. The breakfast was okay but a bit too much of sweet options compared to savoury.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome from start to finish. The rooms looked really nice and we really like the terrace for a late-night cooldown.

Very cozy, nice terrace on the first floor, very friendly staff, good breakfast. An overall great experience, which was a nice surprise given that the price seems low for the area.

I think there wasn't anything I did not like! The room was well-lit, well-ventilated, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome and the staff always accommodating. I would not have minded to stay longer. The area is well connected and you find many nice restaurants and cafes in close proximity (10-20 minutes walking). Direct metro connection to the train station / airport.

The only issue is the upstairs rooms and terrace is next to a restaurant so on the final night there was a big party there and it was very loud going on beyond midnight. I assume this wouldn't be a problem midweek.

The staff were exceptionally nice, very comfortable and clean rooms. It is a little out of the way - so a good 20min walk into the centre and another 10mins to get to the waterfront so as long as you are fit, it's OK.

Nothing. The Boavista Guesthouse doesn't claim to be a hotel so I didn't expect extensive hotel facilities.

The first thing is how well we were looked after - all the staff we met were consistently friendly and helpful. The use of space is excellent and how it's presented. Our room itself was bijou but everything in it was of very good quality and very comfortable - fabulous shower for instance. I loved the ceramic wall art. We used the terrace which was a lovely place for some fresh air during the day, and especially in the evening before settling down for the night. The breakfast had a great selection, and they serve a splendid Vinho do Porto & tonic from the bar. Lots of excellent eating places nearby, away from the touristy areas.

Water in the room on first day only - that’s ok but I don’t like dirty glasses left in the room which stayed for three days (we could have taken them to the kitchen I suppose). Also I don’t like my towels changed daily but left them on the floor on the third day - they were removed but not replaced! Small things really

Lovely guesthouse. 15 min walk into the centre so not too bad but two fantastic restaurants next door and opposite - the best in City. Clean, comfortable and a 24 hour helpful reception.

memory foam mattress, lighting not great

Easy to reach from airport via metro & short walk, great breakfast, helpful staff, wish we had chosen a bigger room, easy walking distance to porto / 20 minutes, lovely outside patio area. memory foam mattress not for us, prefer non memory foam. All in all great stay at this hotel.
