There was no fridge in the room..

The hotel and rooms are very modern. The room was as expected for a hotel within this price range. We had the top floor standard room and it had a nice north facing balcony that overlooked the area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful in pointing us towards places to see in the area. They also allowed us to store our luggage for most of the day when we went out to explore free of charge. The hotel is conveniently located near public transit so getting to the waterfront / center of the city takes only a matter of minutes. There is no free parking at the hotel but the metered parking is not in effect late and it's very easy to find a spot on one of the side streets.

    Nothing really!

Good location near public transport and a possibility to park our car in a safe garage. Walking distance from the centre of Porto. Smiling and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Good views from the 10th floor room with a balcony.

The bed was very hard. There was an unpleasent smell in the bathroom every day, i think it came from the drains (Room 314). The lightning in our room was poor. Everyday its the same breakfast, no variations. For one night it is ok, but for three or four nights, i wouldn't recommend the breakfast. The coffee at the breakfast is really bad. Very expensive, not good value for money.

The room was big and clean. The metro is in front of the hotel, so that you can go to porto city center in a couple of minutes. Stuff was very friendly.

It's right by the metro which is great. However, it's a pretty good walk to any site seeing and there was really only 1 good restaurant by the hotel. So, you spend time commuting.

The staff was excellent. When we asked for suggestions on places to eat and things to see, they had a great list for us to choose from. They were always upbeat and helpful. Whenever we needed something, they responded immediately. The first night the window had gotten left open so the room was really cold. They moved us to another room that was already warm. Breakfast was very good and the staff kept it well stocked and the tables clean.

Not having tea or coffee faculties in the room although there was a jug downstairs the water was often cool to make a drink

Could have better quality furnishings and a bigger room but for the price-point I felt it was very fair.

Great customer service. Good vibes. Some little extras like bottles of water for free and juice for free in the lobby. Also very informative on what to do. Also very easy to get into town with the metro from there. A great stay.

Dilapidated conditions in old part of Porto... just abandoned old building in many places. Poverty of past is still over shadowing the city. Many cranes working will improve in the future, but not quaint yet!

The bedroom doors and fire doors slam so would be better if soft close to reduce noise when these are being used, particularly in the early hours. Lack of places to eat in the evening in the immediate area, though we didn't ask the staff so could have missed this.

Great location for transport, just a minute from the metro. The room was very well laid out and sensible for what you need - space used very well, good storage. Good neutral colour scheme, contemporary feel. Staff were all very nice.

I would recommend thicker/sound proof windows. It's not a big issue and it didn't cause us any stress, but would make the experience even better. Automatic orange juicer would be great :)

We loved everything. From the amazing Sandra Abreu, in the reception that remembered our request for a large bed to the ladies at breakfast. The bed was super comfy with great pillows and the breakfast was great. Great quality and good fresh ingredients. Everything was clean and ready for us. We felt really comfortable. If and when we do return to Porto, we definitely won't mind the 20min walk from Vila Nova de Gaia. Plus, the metro is right next door to the hotel. Overall great experience.

This hotel just fits what you can expect from an hotel at this 3 star level, and for a very good quality/price ratio. Even being located in Gaia, outside of Oporto, it's very well located at just a short walk from the metro station, which can drop you at Oporto center in just 10 minutes. The staff was really friendly and nice. The room was quiet, very clean, simple but comfortable and large with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was, for a 3 star restaurant, very good and plenty of food options. You can also find at the lobby some tea and frui for free, which is a really nice option.

The room was quite small and it wasn't easy to get round the foot of the bed. Strong stench of Drains in the bathroom, which someone came to look at, but there was no improvement. If we had been staying longer, we would probably have been given another room. The Manager was very apologetic when we handed in the room questionnaire on leaving. Because of the bathroom stench I have cancelled the booking I made for next year. Couldn't risk getting a similar room.

Quiet room, very near the Metro. Modern room, balcony and air-conditioning (both of which we did not use). Free water.

Garage is not in the same building and it's hard to stop in front of the hotel to get the remote... It's a busy street and your annoying a lot of people. They should install a camera and remote opener. Rooms isolation isn't very good, you can easily listen to the TV on the next room. Breakfast is good but I paid 25€? I've paid less in a 5 star!

Staff is really nice, free water and apples. Hotel and rooms look really good for a 3-star and everything working flawlessly in the room. Bed and pillows are also nice. Room prices are good value and breakfast is very good even for a 4-star but quite expensive.

The room it was a little small. Some more space between the bed and the wall would have been welcome. The passage of two people simultaneously, from side to side of the bed was impossible. Even a single person must beware of the TV from the wall, to do this. There was very little light in the room. On the ceiling of the room there was no bulb, only on the headboard wall. But, in the bathroom, light was mounted in the ceiling. When you are looking in the mirror the light is behind you and your face is in the dark. For me, it was a real adventure to shave. The makeup, for my wife, it was the same. I strongly recommend to mount spotlights above the mirror in the bathroom.

Great location. At 50 m from Joao de Deus metro station. At 15 min from the center of Porto, using the metro yellow line. Near a great El Corte Ingles commercial center. The staff is very helpful and kind but not necessarily very frendly. Strictly at a professional level. They are very competents, are fluent in english, french or spanish. The room was simple, modern, comfortable and cleanliness was impeccable.

In room 1003 the fridge should be placed under the tv set and an additional chair to use the computer should be placed next to the desk.

The hotel is situated near an overground metro station (João de Deus) and a shopping centre (El Corte Inglés). I was offered a terrace room on the 10th floor from where there is a great view over the city. Not far from the hotel there is also a train station (General Torres) that connects the city with a seaside resort (Espinho) popular among surfers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting Porto and the surrounding area.

Beds, very firm, bathroom good do with an update. Not a lot of storage space for a five day stay.

Close to Metro, the breakfast was fine, plenty of choice. A few restaurants within walking distance.

Location, excellent wifi, proximity to metro, helpfulness of staff and excellent value for money. A really good recommendation from a local Pirtuguese friend.

    Never a bad experience here.

An ideal location as only 50 mts from the metro. The second time we stayed here and when asked why she liked the wife said always felt safe here and in the city itself. Will definitely be returning here in the next year. A beautiful city and wonderful hotel.

Internet stopped working on 2 of my devices after a day.

Door lock was broken so I reported it and it was fixed the next morning. Big, clean room and great location (right next to a metro and a shopping center)

I've never found before a fresh orange juice machine in the breakfast room! Congratulations on that idea! The staff is amazingly polite and friendly!

there weren't not enough breakfast items than other hotels but not that bad in quality. Need to take a tram to the main attractions - 4 stops, can walk, too :)

their staff were very nice. they tried to tell me about attractions in Proto. Room was very clean and tiny.

The Hotel is a bit old. Parking is not free. I asked for a room in the upper floor and I found some bugs in the room. The breakfast was poor.

The staff was very kind and helpfull. The hotel is very well located.

If you are staying at the hotel for at least 16 days, the breakfast could really be more versatile. Serving ice cold boiled eggs to children is absolutely horrible. The boiled eggs could at least be heated. There could be a greater variety of cereals. More of the delicious summer fruits could also be served.
