We hit Cascais during a heat spell (32-35 degrees) the AC units in the two bedrooms were struggling. The light in the kitchen is absolutely blinding! From an environmental perspective, the bathrooms have very old toilets that use heaps of water (including the shower)...we just built a home in Portugal and are rather cognizant of the severe water shortages Portugal faces. Emergency ceiling lamp in hallway needs 3 new AA batteries.

The condo was on the 4th floor in a great neighborhood. The beach area was about a 10-15min walk depending upon your pace. It was great to have a parking spot so that we could drive our car to Lisbon and the Western Beaches; because parking in Cascais is very challenging (4hr limit during the day). Hosts / Owners were very kind and helpful. One of the beds has a great mattress; the other one is super soft/squishy. We own rental homes and I know that some guests prefer one over the other......a nice touch was to have a coffee maker with some pods to use, bread, jam, butter and water bottles in our room. Internet worked great. All in all - we loved the place, time together, overall Cascais experience!

We had the smaller bedroom and our bed was a bit on the hard side. That was a small thing considering how comfortable the apartment was overall.

Hostess was very gracious and helpful. Easy digital app reception and entry. Once in side there was a bottle of wine and pastries to welcome us. Large full kitchen with everything we needed and air conditioning in all the rooms. The apartment is an easy 15 minute walk to town center and is above a number of small businesses like the pastry and coffee shop we enjoyed daily. Free parking was a bonus.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and spacious. Lovely host. Great location for exploring Cascais and also near the station for visiting Lisbon.

In all my travels I can’t recall another apartment that is so well laid out and furnished. Everything is just right – rooms are generous but not too big, well proportioned, moving around is a pleasure. I could easily find everything I needed in the kitchen, not only because it was there but it was somehow just where I expected it to be – from crockery to utensils to cleaning supplies – Laura and Jamie have thought about everything that a traveller could need. The bedrooms were quiet, bed comfortable, lots of storage space (and generally space), the living room comfortable. I could connect my tablet to the smart TV and share our travel plans with the rest of the group in an instant. Two spacious terraces provide enough outside space for a drink. The private parking space was the cherry on the cake. Location: ten minutes from pretty much everything central, supermarket, coffee shop even closer. Laura met us for the check-in and explained everything we needed to know (which is also neatly written in a folder). Communication was a breeze and so was the self-checkout. I can’t recommend this apartment enough and will gladly return at the first opportunity!

Nothing really- we were very happy with the apartment.

It was so well equipped and contained everything we could want and more. The little touches make a big difference. It was also spacious and comfortable, exactly what a family wants on holiday (my husband and I were on holiday with our 15 year old son). The information in the flip file about Cascais was useful and the restaurant recommendations were great. Laura was really helpful and friendly.

The apartment is in a central location and a short walk to restaurants, supermarkets, the beach and the market. It is spacious and has a great verandah . The host was fantastic ensuring we had coffee, tea, milk bread and some pastel de nata - this was very unusual in our travels. Oh and a bottle wine as well!

We spent a week at this apartment in June and had a magnificent time. The apartment is absolutely wonderful! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. It is beautiful, spacious, clean, and so comfortable. The owners were thoughtful and kind and took time to help us get acclimated to the area by recommending restaurants and places to visit. It is only 10 minutes to walk into the charming town center of Cascais or to the incredible cliffs along the sea. Taking the train into Lisbon from there was convenient. It was also an easy and very inexpensive ride with Uber from the airport and to Sintra. Below the apartment was a fabulous bakery, which we frequented daily. A wonderful neighborhood outdoor market is right down the street and supermarkets are walkable or a short, cheap Uber ride away. The area is safe and is a great central place to spend several days.
