The shower was awful: removable shower head that didn’t stay in place. There is a half glass supposed to protect the water, but it doesn’t work. The water goes out on the floor everyday.

Bed was comfortable, gardens were beautiful, trail on the cliffs, location.

Photos on booking.com reservation of a higher standard then the actual. No easy chair, no bed runner, dirt left on bathroom door, smelly old pillow, towels not changed as expected, rusty handle on bath dripping into water, had to ask for kettle and had to wait until next day, tray had unwashed cups

Reasonable facilities hence the 4 star rating but in all honesty the place is now of a dated design in need of significant investment to bring it up to modern standards, but because of the layout I don't think this is possible. You get what you pay for and it was just a cheap base for us for a golfing break. Room 101 was clean but dated by modern standards. No fan in the bathroom and no opening window so condensation was a problem and everything felt damp after 4 days.

    Friendly staff.

Nice room with seeview. The garden in front of the hotel is very nice, the location of the hotel is perfect for walking along the coast and for golfing and a little beach ca 500 m from the hotel . Music in the bar almost every evening

Rooms are getting a little outdated. Great restaurants nearby but quite a walk to the main town. Breakfast had many options but was not gourmet. We had a car so the distance wasn't a problem. Was a great base for exploring the Algarve.

Great pool area and bar. Has a happy hour. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Short walk to a quieter beach away from town. Enjoyed having tennis courts and small gym. Great base for exploring the Algarve. Good kitchenette in rooms with fridge and aircon.

The showerhead in our bathroom was very poorly designed and sprayed water out, rather than down. The water pressure was very good, but the direction of the spray made it impossible not to shower without soaking the bathroom floor!

The staff were very helpful, especially Nadja at the front desk, who was very attentive and arranged for a complimentary bottle of champagne to be sent to our room (we were on honeymoon).

Rooms are big and comfortable, we had room with sea view and it's worth it. Rooms are having enough space. Hotel is in the walkable distance to city center and beach. We used spa zone and it's great opportunity to relax if weather is not good. Breakfast has good variety. We were in the hotel for the second time and we will return for sure.

not enough car parking spaces and thoughtless parking by guests that took up two parking places. Our main disappointment was that we booked sea view rooms booking months in advance and were allocated rooms with a side sea view NOT what we had asked and paid for.

Air conditioner didn't work. Bathtub was dirty. Front desk staff wasn't friendly or willing to shorten our booking by one day when we had to leave a day earlier. Hotel didn't look like it had been renovated or updated in in many years. There were signs everywhere telling you what you couldn't do. WiFi didn't work in the room and it was limited to three days free. You have to pay after three days. Breakfast was horrible. Should stick to the croissants and yogurt.

The room we had was as shown on booking.com, unfortunately it was in need of some TLC. The bidet had a crack in the top which was both dangerous and a germ trap. the bath was rusty around the plug. The Sauna was good but was spoilt for us when another couple joined us totally naked. Thought this was a family hotel and I would have expected a sign stating that this practice is allowed.

Accommodation was not as advertised on website. Our family room was supposed to have a sea view on the upper floor. Room 269 looked into a boiler room infested with ants. The kitchenette in reality consisted of a sink and hob built into a cupboard which in itself is a fire hazard. On arrival our room was not ready. The entrance door to our apartment had fallen off its hinges and did not close properly allowing insects to pass through. The toilet did not flush, patio doors did not lock. No cooking utensils, cupboard space too small to accommodate family of 4. Room only cleaned every other day. Swimming pool dirty, sunbeds broken. After complaining to reception staff I was told most guests do not eat in apartment ! I wonder why ? You had to pay for wifi which did not work most of the time.
