There's some "humming" noise at night that might be bothersome.

The hotel seems fairly new and it was clean and modern, but with a warm touch thanks to the fabric (Burel) that is manufactured closed by in Manteigas. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the showers very, very comfortable. There's a (slow) EV charging station in front which is very convenient. Breakfast is buffet-style and varied enough - the quality of the food provided is excellent (the ubiquitous "Pastel de nata" are available, nice and warm, and are, as usual, delicious. There's a splendid view of the valley, visible through generous windows. There are nice hikes walking distance, but to eat, or shop for groceries, you need to take the car and go in town.

There is no proper terrace yet, and the rooms we had, had no balcony. The windows did not open. The inside swimming pool was simply too cold for our two boys.

This hotel is linked to a weavery, Ecola. That means everything in the hotel that can be woven, is woven by themselves. And that makes the hotel stand out. Don't hesitate to see the weavery and see the somewhat artisanale way of working there. Staff very helpful. However, the hotel is still in its build-up phase, they will have a restaurant on the top (2nd) floor. We had dinner in a place called Cascate in Manteigas, we believe not to be the best place in town. There are other nice hotels as well nearby, I assume they have better restaurants. We do recommend the local tea shop, Infuçiones.

The hotel is exceptional, the best I have used within this price bracket. Beautifully designed and furnished, stunning mountain views and spacious immaculate bedrooms. The breakfast was excellent, with an extensive buffet, a hot option and freshly cooked pastel de nata. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. The visit to the fabric factory was very interesting.

Fabulously positioned with a wonderful view of the town and river. The room was perfect, large, with a super comfortable bed and lounges. The pool is a great treat. The staff accomodating and very pleasant.

Excellent breakfast, with eggs made to order. Very quiet area, modern clean room with views, along with some sheep and ducks behind the hotel. Walking distance to an excellent restaurant. Attentive staff, even though it was extremely quiet period to visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located near the river, with a beautiful view of the valley and the large mountains behind it. The hotel itself is situated at an old factory building and there are some artifacts and memorabilia on display. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very good.

We searched specifically for a hotel with indoor heated pool and I asked if the pool was open with a positive response. When we arrived, the pool was very cold. Disappointed about that.

We had a very nice view from our room and a very big and comfortable shower. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options.The sauna and pool facilities were clean and we enjoyed them very much. The staff was very friendly. We highly reccomend this hotel for people travelling in the Serra Estrella area.

The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the mountain view is amazing. The staff was always very polite and the breakfast was delicious. The stay included a guided tour to the Ecolã factory, a couple of miles away, where we were welcomed by a very knowledgeable gentleman who took the time to explain to us the whole cycle of the wool, from shearing to fabric and tailoring. It is a great place to stay when you visit the area!

It is an old wool factory and many things in the hotel are made from wool, cushions, curtains, all the small gadgets, very tastefully done. Beds were nice and comfortable. Very kind and attentive staf. And they provide a tour in the new wool factory, even on Sunday, which js very interesting. Thank you Anthonio!

The location is great, from our room we were facing the other side of the mountain where Manteigas is located. The view is fenomenal also because of the giant window on the room. The room and bathroom are big enough and comfortable for two. The hotel itself is very cozy and clean. Also the staff are very welcoming.

What can I say about this hotel? I absolutely loved everything about it! The facilities are modern and comfortable, the location is convenient, being close to both the highway and the city, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Additionally, the staff is incredibly helpful and provides excellent recommendations for places in the city. The breakfast is top-notch, with individually prepared items. All of this, coupled with a fantastic cost-to-benefit ratio, makes this stay an excellent choice for any traveler.
