The guest room was warmer than we liked. we brought this to the staff's attention and they had maintenance try to adjust the thermostat but we still felt the A/C could not cool the room sufficiently. But that would not dissuade us from staying at this property again because the staff is so good.

The staff at the Dom Pedro is excellent. Very attentive to their guest's needs. The breakfast buffet is expansive including a variety of egg dishes, hot and cold meats, plenty of fresh fruits and baked items.

A friend of mine wanted to make a surprise for my birthday, requested sparkling wine and a cupcake with the birthday candle way in advance... unfortunately, it hasn't been done, and no one knew anything about it when she asked them... they did organise that later, though, but the surprise has been ruined 😑

The shower wasn't quite up to the rest of the standard of the hotel. Also had a bit of incident when I got out the shower to find an enormous incest watching me. (kid you not, 4-5cm in length!) Would have enjoyed using the spa more but the opening hours are limited (9am-8pm).

Really beautiful design and furniture, although could certainly consider some degree on modernisation. Room was large, with a table and massive views (18th floor). Staff were friendly, breakfast has a good variety of options and i'm a real sucker for a grand piano in the lobby! Used the jacuzzi which was comparatively large but felt somewhat smaller with 6 people squeezed in. VIP lounge was a pleasant area for remote working with an open bar and snacks. Well stocked bar downstairs, although on the pricey side. Central location but a good 40 minute walk down to the touristy areas on the waterfront.

The internet and tv service was a bit spotty. Room was also warmer than average even with A/C on full blast. Might have been because we were there in winter.

The breakfast service is well worth the price. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have seen ever. The room was everything we needed space-wise and had a nice view. The sauna and pool were great after walking for miles everyday.

Everything was good!

Our experience here has far surpassed our expectations. This spot is perfect for couples, offering a delightful spa we thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, it's fantastic for those needing to work, thanks to the availability of coworking spaces. Our spacious room was equipped with a large, comfortable table and chairs, making working from there a breeze. And I must mention, the staff was outstanding!

Great hotel with a beautiful interior and delicious breakfasts. I also want to note that the staff is friendly and helped me with all my questions. My room on the 17th floor provided a fantastic view of the river. The bathroom had everything necessary, along with bathrobes and slippers. There was even an umbrella in the closet :) I really enjoyed my room, and I want to highlight the excellent and extremely comfortable bathtub.

The hill from the Metro was a killer. Not the Hotel's fault and we found the amazing tram from Chiado which made up for it

Breakfast is not 5 stars but solid 4 stars. Limited choices running out toward the end breakfast hours. I guess that was the only item that did not meet the expectations of a 5 stars hotel.

Location! - Not the historical center, yet within 10 minutes on the car. It was really close to the attractions. Yet it had a wonderful spa with convenient hours. Note the historical center hotels DO NOT have that spacious rooms and the spa with the pool. The hotel is locate right next to historical 19 century tramline. It takes about 15 minute to the center on a tram. Uber is not expensive and within 10 minutes from the center. Beds are wonderful, stuff is amazing and most importantly responsive. They do react within minutes on requests ( bring new towels, fix the light). Location + quality + price is probably the best ratio for the 4.5 star hotel.

Myself and my wife had an excellent stay recently at the hotel. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were greeted in the room by Champagne, port wine and macaroons! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast spread in the mornings was delicious and quite extensive in options . The staff deserve to be recognized for the immaculate cleanliness and presentation around the entire hotel.
