Only negative is the hours of the restaurant for dinner do not begin until 7:30pm. That was too late for our family but there are many local cafe options as well, since most restaurants in Portugal don't start dinner until 7 or 7:30pm.

Beautiful pilgrimage hotel with gorgeous Christian art displayed throughout the hotel along with 2 wonderful chapels with the Blessed Sacrament for prayer. It was like a family retreat with a very close walk (down the street) to the shrine. Excellent breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. Comfortable beds and great pillows. All the staff were very kind and helpful, and answered any questions we had. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to others for a wonderful pilgrimage experience.

The decor is very traditionally Portuguese, with dark browns and greens and mustard colours. It made the rooms too dark for my taste. You have to be a pilgrim to not care about such things. I liked many of the sacred pictures and statuory but not all of them.

I loved the Byzantine Chapel and the original photographs of Fatima. The buffet was generous. We met amazing people and the staff were great to talk to. The cleaning ladies are absolutely lovely.

Nearly everything. The Bar/Cafe did not open any time during our 3 day stay. Not suitable location for disabled pilgrims. Distance to and from grotto is very hard and akward. I will not rebook this hotel. It is lifeless, no atmosphere, Price great, Clean but . You need life.

Check in staff very good. And down hill from there.

Only suggestion would be to light up the blue domed roof to make it easier to find at night after the services at the shrine. It is easy to spot during the day, but, despite its prominent feature, impossible to find in the dark.

The hotel was an incredible value for the money. I loved the large soaking tub!! The food in the restaurant was delicious!

This hotel was a great experience. The staff (there was always one English speaking person at the front desk) was most helpful - whether it was helping us find a place to eat, or finding parking. The room had a great view of the Basilica, and was clean and comfortable. They also had a little chapel (this is a re-done Byzantine monastery) where we could go to pray. The stairwells were lined with historical pictures of Fatima. There was in-house parking; the AC was working, although we preferred to open out the large windows to enjoy the breeze and the view.
