Parking should be free for guests. As a couple we would have preferred a mixed sauna and not separated. Nice indoor pool unfortunately does not have sun loungers

Staff is exceptionally nice and welcoming, the facilities are gorgeous (outdoors too), and the rooms are very comfortable. Easy to park and move around and it's a historical place so you get to learn more about Portugal.

Room would have benefited from tea and coffee making facilities. On arrival some 30 or 40 people were smoking right at the entrance doors. The hotel should provide a space away from the doors. There is ample space to do so.

The bed was a bit hard but I found that to be true for 3out of our 4 hotels in Portugal.

Even though this property was built in the 60s it is well maintained and offers a great deal for the price. The breakfast was exceptional as was the pool and location. We came to Tomar by train and simply had to walk straight out of the station and walk through town to the property. The hotel is on the edge of town so out of the huddle and bustle of the tourist areas but, having said that, still just 3 minutes to the start of the historical area. Live piano music in Friday and Saturday nights. The pianist was very accomplished! Tomar is quite small and the historical area is very walkable.

The fact we could not find a boutique hotel as an alternative.

This is a big modern hotel with modern facilities geared towards hosting conventions and large group. Our room was modern and comfortable with working quiet air conditioning and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was great.

The pool area was a fabulous and unexpected surprise here- such a quaint little town with such a fancy, affordable hotel. Incredible buffet, on-site parking, lovely short walk to town. Fabulous shower and comfy bed!

The one thing I didn’t like was the poor WiFi, both signal strength and speed were too low to be useful. They did offer to relocate us to a room closer to the router but we elected not to pack and move and used cellular data. All rooms should have good WiFi these days.

It’s a spacious hotel from foyer to hallways to the rooms. Great balcony overlooking the old town, pool and the pretty river. Very comfortable room and generous breakfast. Great staff.

Can't give top points to a hotel with no comp water (unless provided by the minibar, at a fee) and no coffee machine in the room. Morning FO team could be more proactive at early check ins.

Hotel facilities were great everywhere. The furniture, indoor heated pool and outdoor pool, the bar area, lobby, the snooker table, etc. Location was great. F&B team was top, their service was super. The night room service menu is great, congrats! Room size was great, and the balconies are very pleasant.

A wonderful place in the best location. Old Town Tomar is so lovely. Hotel feels like a resort with beautiful grounds and views next to the river. Enjoyed drinks laying by the pool then the best breakfast in the morning. Older hotel with so many classic touches. Loved our stay.
