I have sat and tried to think of something I didn't like to try and give the report balance. I came up with nothing without being unfair.

Lovely and quiet, very tranquil. Nice gardens & pool area. Fantastic shared spaces (Kitchen & Lounge area). Fantastic walking and running around the area. Very few people and didn't see a car for miles. Nearest supermarket about 4k away in town, (10 min very easy drive) an Aldi and the Portuguese equivalent of an Asda. A little out of town, so if you're looking to get away from the people and bars then this is the place. I would also say the hire of a car is essential for staying here, but would highly recommend both the hire of a car and this location. If you want to get away from the people of the costal towns, the UK weather and get out and do some dry trail running or walking with some sun, this is a great place to stay. Perfect for a group of families with kids taking a few rooms I would think.

Friendly, helpful, cheerful staff. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Shared kitchen and sitting room provided the opportunity to talk with others on their holidays. Lovely, quiet countryside. Not far by car to Tavira and the coast.

Everything. The idyllic setting and the communal organization with well equipped shared kitchen and spacious common room where you could exchange with other travelers. The apartments themselves were comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. We stayed 3 nights but could easily have stayed much longer.

Very friendly owner. Good room with shared kitchen and sitting room so interesting to meet up with other guests. Large garden area and good swimming pool. Lovely quiet valley so good area for pleasant walking. Not far from Tavira and the beach by car so overall a good place to stay.

We were four adults sharing two rooms. The shower in our room wasn't very private.

The location was secluded, beautiful, and peaceful. We enjoyed the ping-pong table and community areas. The pool looked nice but it was too cold to use during our February visit.

This is a fantastic complex. Spacious rooms, a great kitchen (knifes are sharp!), cool to meet other people. Hikes to the surrounding hills or a dive into the chilly pool arw great options.

We loved our stay here, and hope to return. Beautiful, calming tranquil space, perfect for yoga retreats. Mark has done an amazing job and has a beautiful garden. Swimming in the pool with this view was amazing. and mark showed us round the whole place with great enthusiasm and was very helpful. He was always thinking what his guests might need,and we really appreciated our stay here and he was a kind and helpful host.

Mark has a lovely place with everything you need for a relaxing stay. He’s created a beautiful space for guests to share and we felt right at home. It’s also just a 10 min drive from Tavira.

The location up on the hills as well as the layout of the housing are exceptional - it's like your own little finca far away from the touristy bustle of Tavira. We spent our short stay mostly visiting Tavira and sightseeing but we were sad we didn't plan in a few more days just to stay on site and enjoy the quiet solitude and the pool.

An amazing stay for me at Fazendinha Tavira. At first I was a bit bummed by the fact that it is a bit out of town (over 5 km) but then loved the place: my room was very cozy while still quite large, a bathroom with both a tub and an Italian shower, a little table and chairs by the front door plus a great swimming pool with loungers, etc. I made friends with other families on the property: we shared meals together and even day trips around the area... Marc and Aline are also very kind and generous. So in the end, I loved it and would love to return (with my own car!).

Fazendinha is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay, just a few kilometers out of Tavira town. The property is so spacious, many areas to sit, a gorgeous pool with surrounding sun lounges and table, lovely gardens and great common areas and kitchen facilities. There is nothing that wasn't available, including washing machine. Our family room was quite large, with a huge mezzanine level with two single beds. Mark, our host, was very friendly and accommodating, giving us lots of recommendations. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you don't want to be in the centre of town and want somewhere quiet to relax.
