Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Wifi was a bit slow, and the apartment faces the street, so sometimes you can hear the vehicles.
Very comfortable apartment, with a great location. Everything was clean and easy to use. The staff were very nice and helpful. We will definitely get back again!

The street is a little busy, and you can hear some noise from the cars. There were street construction works just under the bedroom window almost every morning.
Modern flat, very clean, fully equipped. It wasn’t hot in August. Location is good, with lots of restaurants around and the Luiz I Bridge within walking distance. Self check-in. The host kindly allowed an early check-in as the apartment was free.

This place was perfect for our large group. The outdoor patio let us look at the whole city. We loved the welcome to our place, the wine and the snacks were so thoughtful. The location was perfect and there was a market on the corner.

Great location - right at the top of the main strip where the shops and restaurants are located. Air Conditioning was excellent. Very Clean. Washing machine had a dryer too! Whole place has been updated. Felt very safe. People were friendly. Will be back!

Amazing location, great apartment and service beyond compare. We are long term travelers and sometimes you find a place that you say. I could call this home. The apartment was perfect for a long term or long weekend stay. The management team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and set up excursions.

No baggage storage and check out at 11am, however this was as advertised so no complaints :)
Spacious apartment and very comfortable sofa bed, which made a great stay for 2 people looking for a bit of space. Air con was great, but also had double doors allowing fresh air into the apartment. Easy to access door via code. Felt very safe.

Everything conceivable thing about this place was perfect. People say it's loud at night, you're in a city, it's minimal for the great location. The staff make the whole experience super simple. Place is as clean as advertised, and it's just a great space.

The wifi coverage in the apartment is poor (it's ok in the living/dining space, but poor in the bedrooms) My devices were loosing connection quite frequently.
The apartment was nice and clean, very quiet despite being close to a busy pedestrian street. I loved the system they had in place for keys, it's a web-based app so you open the doors with your phone

Mattresses need to be refreshed / replaced as one sagged in the middle and the other on the side (note: I am 52 kg and husband 72 kg and stayed at apartment 1.3 on May 15-20, 2025). The management team was responsive when I asked for them to be flipped over. I understood these were normal wear and tear so it would not reduce the quality of our stay.
Good location, spacious and clean. Everything in the apartment worked properly.

The high tech and rather impersonable hosting, eg the company took a while to respond to our questions on Whatsapp and the digital key aspect was all a bit unnerving. The noise of the traffic outside in the early mornings. The fact that there wasn't an option of leaving our luggage at the Feel Porto offices on the last day.

Location was excellent. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars close by. The host gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and roof top bars. We booked 5 apartments and they were all very well equipped and quite spacious. It was everything we needed for a weekend in Porto. It was a celebration for my daughter and they even managed to sort out a cake for her which was delivered to the apartment, this was sorted out by Vera who was most helpful. I would highly recommend.

Sensor light outside bedroom door couldn’t be switched off. This meant if you got up in the middle of the night your partner was hit by a bright light - you will need eye masks or exceptional bladder control. Entry is via a switch system downloaded onto your phone. Easy enough to use, but if you’re uncomfortable using technology this may not be for you. You will need earplugs as there is quite a bit of street noise, however this is the case for most of Porto.
Well located and extremely comfortable. Around the corner from the covered markets and a short walk to the majority of sites. Kitchen was well enough equipped to allow some self catering. Extremely secure building, that even the most nervous person would find reassuring. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Just outside of the tourist throng, it was an oasis to return to.
