You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHaving requested twin beds as I was travelling with my son, we arrived and were given a double bed!! After asking reception we were told confirmation was only for the room. Not confirmation of twin beds. We were told there was no other room. After 11 hours driving this was not what we wanted to hear. Eventually we were given a twin room. ( so there was one!) The beds were awful. Very old hard and lumpy mattresses that had seen plenty of use. I managed about 2 hours sleep. Which was a disaster as I needed to recuperate. In addition the air con was pathetic and took until 5am to cool the room properly. So. I sleep that night. Expensive to be uncomfortable.
Great location, in quiet setting, pretty grounds and pool. Food was superb.

United StatesHotel Fanta Santa is absolutely gorgeous and everyone is wonderful there. that being said the hot spring facility next-door is not something I would recommend to anyone. It is not related to the hotel but it is located next-door and it is one reason that I booked at this hotel – so that I could go to the Hot Springs spa. The thermos de Fonte Santa is an extremely outdated facility. It’s not very clean, it’s not very well organized or managed, and when I was there everyone had Covid.
The pool was very beautiful, if a little cold. The restaurant was decent, and eating outside on the deck was a pleasure. The sauna and Turkish bath we’re not very hot, but the weather was quite warm so it didn’t matter that much. All in all a very relaxing stay in a truly beautiful location.

United Kingdomrooms ok but felt a bit cool & slightly damp in below ground room but room moved to was perfect.
Friendly helpful staff, no problem when we asked to change room, was done straight away. Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Man behind bar was so helpful & told us places to visit in the area. Sat in lovely lounge bar with log burner on with super local pre dinner Douro wine.

PortugalIf you have a disability you can get into the hotel without any problem and reach any floor with an elevator. Getting to the pool is a bit more challenging. Impossible even if you’re on a wheelchair. It is not my case but I still have a disability and it was challenging enough. The gardens are also very nice but don’t forget bug repellent!!
