Although the room was clean, it didn't appear well maintained. The walls needed painting, the surfaces were old and run down... It wouldn't have been a problem in a 3 star hotel but we felt like it didn't match the 4 star classification (in regards to rooms, the remaining hotel was really well maintained with a perfect old new balance, especially the dinning area)

The facilities were amazing. They had a snooker table, table tennis, tennis court, football field, spa, inside and outside pool and gym ALL included in the price, free of charge (even the snooker) The staff are really nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and the food is amazing, with fresh ingredients and a lot of variety.

Room needs refreshment, shower has no pressure at all you can’t rinse the head properly :( breakfast completely rubbish :( also you need a proper coffee machine

Was away from city centre. Would be little difficult if you don’t have your own car. A kettle to have a tea or coffee is advisable ( referring to 4star hotel standards). Also, having a fridge with some drinks would be appreciated.

The is situated at the top of the mountain out of Braga city centre. It was nice and calm environment. Breakfast was good, facilities were good. Food in the restaurant was delicious too.

WiFi in the hotel just don't work. Poor signal or no signal at all in our room. In the lobby there was good signal, but after connecting there was no internet connection through the hotel WiFi. Nevertheless, hotel management is determined to help and give me access to the closed network for hotel staff, and I could sit near reception and work. Thanks a lot!

Great quiet hotel with the nice pool. Beautiful place, I Love it. People is very supportive and helpful. Total blackout curtain in the room, I'm very sensitive to night light and this curtain was VERY good. There are several places for walking near the hotel.

seems to be lacking personnel as one employee was often taking care of multiple areas. the beds (mattresses) need replacement.

The whole exterior (at the back) and some of the interior could do with an update. Pool was nice but really needed some maintenance. It needed a clean of leaves/bugs. Tiles around the pool very uneven. Sunbeds uncomfortable. Some parasols broken. Having said this we did still use the pool and pool area. Pillows in the room we’re not great. Once plug socket in the room didn’t work and in the other room the fridge was broken (they did replace this but then the door on the outside of the fridge wouldn’t shut. The hairdryer were awful. I did ask if they had any others and they didn’t.

Breakfast was great. Room was lovely and had a balcony which we were not expecting. Most of the staff were very helpful. Location was beautiful.

The room was slightly old and the furniture was coming out of the wall, which was dangerous for my baby. The Interior Pool was really good but the water should have been slightly warmer and the Jacuzzi wasn't working.

The staff was amazing and made us feel at home. The Place was really nice and the surroundings were perfect, a lot of things to visit and see nearby.

Wi-fi is the worst I've experienced in all the hotels that say they have wi-fi in all my life... Not having wifi in a room and saying you do it's just not acceptable. All the other ratings (that I saw afterwards) state the same, the hotel should really try to sort it out, we're in 2021!

We left at second night because the hotel is in very bad shape. The room was not acceptable. I cannot understand how this hotel can be classified 4 Stars.

Chunks missing from wall in room, black stains on carpet in room, bathroom floor was wet, towels stained, looked like mold near balcony door, heavy smells.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is in disrepair.

Very old hotel in need of updating and painting even in common areas. Room furniture badly damaged, window areas blistering with water damage, some mould, needs painting. Location outside busy city and access to surrounding areas. Huge potential but would only rate at possibly a 3-star but definitely not a 4-star hotel in current condition

If you are looking for a 4 star hotel, avoid this hotel. I booked it for a bit of luxury (having stayed in a Golden Tulip hotel before) and some relaxation for 3 days Our room was smelly, with stains of the floor, black grout in bathroom, cracks in walls, flaky paint, torn sheets in the bed that the chamber maid redone 3 mornings without thinking it was wrong to have 40 cm hole in the bed linen…. In other words, we didn’t get the bedroom shown on the pictures! There were no dressing gown, not 4 pillows; I was told “all bedrooms are the same” so I don’t know where those lovely bedrooms are!? instead of relaxation we went out and didn’t come back till 10pm just to sleep. I filled in a satisfactory questionnaire on the second day as they “wanted their guests to enjoy their stayed” but nobody got back to me. I lost 20 minutes of my holiday for nothing. Not sure how this hotel still has 4 stars...
