No criticisms, just suggestions for improvement. We were late checking in due to issues with previous guests, and would have appreciated an earlier message to warn us as we ended up having to kill time at a café as too hot outside. An extra thinner pillow option would have been welcome. A few basics such as salt and oil in kitchen are always appreciated! There's no lift, so guests should be aware there might be up to three floors of stairs.

Location was perfect! So close to old town yet close to best car park which was very cheap - we paid less than 10 euros for a two night stay! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, including a butchers and mini market/grocers just downstairs as well as two cafés and yet very quiet and felt very safe to come back to at night. The view from the top floor studio overlooks the outskirts, including the car park and we found it really interesting. We were there in very hot period and loved having our breakfast and evening meal looking out of the window.. we highly recommend pushing the table over by the window! Good spacious bathroom with good shower.

Very loud festival outside with music until 3am, an unusual event I think but check your dates if you don't love that noise level!

Excellent location, and absolutely spotless.. Lovely powerful aircon (and it was extremely hot outside so we needed it!). Large carpark very close by for 6 euros/day. We had a slight mix up with beds which Samuel immediately went out of his way to help us with - an excellent host.

The apartment is immaculate. Equipped enough for all your basic needs. Although the 3 story climb to the top is tough, for us over 60 years, the balcony provides pleasant views of Penha church and the general surroundings.

The only issues were a small problem with ants but it was quickly dealt with. The front door was difficult to open but we figured it out.

Very helpful host and immaculate apartment in the perfect location for us. We had the Castle apartment on the top floor at the rear so was quiet at night. Really liked the layout of the place and quality of decor.

Excellent Location, right in the heart of the Historic city of Guimarães plus a public parking 50 meters from the property at a very good price. the facility has all the necessary items needed to spend a few days, Big fridge, electric stove plated, toaster, espresso machine, Kettle etc. etc. Very well maintained, private bathroom, one double bed, one sofa, we'll probably will come back in September and we'll stay there again. Highly recommended.

Only draw back there was no lift, but it's an old restored building. Nothing else, even this was not a real problem.

The location was wonderful, right around the corner from a very large square where holiday decorations were being installed. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to prepare a couple meals in the apartment after doing some shopping at the local grocery. The room was also very quiet, and the shades were awesome for anyone light sensitive. The staff was there to greet me, and show me how to use everything. It was very welcoming.

Great location, in the heart of the historic city. Friendly welcome from the host, nicely renovated apartment with all we needed. It was very quiet, beds were comfy. Restaurant, cafés, stores nearby. Walking distance from train and bus stations.

Guests shall be aware that in order to get to the apartment one has to climb 3 floors.

Someone with a screwdriver should check the hooks etc in the bathroom, as many are loose. Also the LED light above the bathroom sink kept flashing a lot. There's only 1 place for a wet towel to be hanged for drying. A second one would be welcome.

Breakfast was not included but the appartment has a kitchen and a large fridge. Due to the location just outside the historic centre, it was easy to get breakfast at one of the many pastelaria. There are two of these within 20m of the appartment.

Not much space to hang clothes but there were many empty cabinets in the kitchen area that worked well for storage.

Wonderfullyresponsive host. Samuel met us at the apartment, gave us the keys, showed us around and gave helpful advice about parking. Exceptionally clean apartment that was well furnished. Functional kitchen. Excellent location just outside the old city, so less noise, no tourists, but easy access to sites and good restaurants. Public parking ramp VERY convenient and inexpensive just a 2 minute walk down the street. Great coffee and pastries 3 doors down.

Very comfortable room. Samuel met us at 3pm and showed us the property. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. Bed was very comfortable. He even gave us extra KCups for the Kerrigan coffee maker. Location was excellent would stay there again.

The location was great. The host had left water, biscuits and a map in the room - all of which were used. Uht milk which wasn’t. The host carried one bag up for us and back down when we were leaving. The shower was great. Good sized vathroom
