Spacious airy room, comfortable communal areas with complementary drinks and cakes at all times. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even a small indoor swimming pool and gym. On my husband’s birthday a bottle of chilled sparkling wine was placed in our room.

I booked this hotel last minute when our flight was moved up and we were really pleased with the place. Beautiful aesthetic and well designed room with especially friendly staff.

There really wasn't anything to niggle about. What do you want me to say? That a decanter of port in the room might have led me astray?! No. It was a great hotel and made for a great city break.

We looked at a number of hotels around Lisbon for our 3 nights away. We fancied one with a pool (even if it were only a small one), even though, as it happened, we didn't get around to using it. One key issue, as first timers to Lisbon, was location. As we walked around (and gosh, did we walk) we found ourselves passing each of the other hotels we'd looked at, and each time thought: We made the right choice. The hotel itself is lovely: Room 30 is a big room, two, tripled-glazed, windows over the main Avenue, 3 minutes walk to the Metro, 5 to Rossio, 2 to the Funicular. Breakfast is the traditional mix, but well put together with good ingredients, and there's coffee, port, and cakes available throughout the day if you want to graze. Ultimately, as a base to go and explore, we couldn't have found a better place. The staff were smiley and helpful, the room was lovely. If I could find a fault, I'd tell you to add credibility to this review, but it was spot on.

This was our 4th or 5th stay at this ideally located hotel. Our room was large and fantastic. And as always the staff was friendly and attentive. And they went out of of their way to reward us for our repeat visit.

Very friendly hotel, extremely clean and wonderful breakfast. Great location. We were only there for 2 nights but it absolutely meet are expectations. Close to a metro station as well.

The hotel was truly wonderful. Breakfast was good and ran until 12pm which was amazing, compared to some hotels which stop breakfast much earlier, and the all-day snack and drinks station was an incredible touch. The room was lovely with a really spacious bathroom, the space felt really clean and the lounges/library were really cosy. The pool is really small but super functional and lovely, same with the gym - the loungers felt like a small spa experience. Staff was super kind and always friendly. Honestly not a single bad thing I can say!

The decor was stunning! I love the room windows and view of the street. The moment I arrive I was taken care of by Erica at the reception. She was very kind and professional, sharing all the hotel’s amenities and services. I really enjoy the evening in the lobby when you can get great service by Alex. The staff were very plaisant and kind. The hotel is very well located.

I can only say that we are really lucky. We can stay here for this extra day in Lisbon. The reception staff is very kind, and the restaurant and lobby are also very beautiful and designed. We like this very much. The light in the room is good and the indoor environment is good. It's clean, and the decoration style is a little bit modern and classic. We love it. When you open the window, you can see the ramp tram behind the lane, surrounded by beautiful trees. Another thing I want to be particularly grateful for is that on the day of check-out We left our luggage in the hotel and were about to return to the hotel when we walked through the side door. The concierge unlocked the side door (it seemed to be locked normally) and asked us to come inside quickly. We didn’t know the reason at first, but later he Explain that when we were at the door, we were targeted by a thief, who was about to attack us. I am really grateful to the concierge! If I have the opportunity to travel to Lisbon again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!

Location is central, easy access to restaurants and transportation. Quiet, well maintained and clean. Staff very friendly. Loved to Port in out room. A lovely touch
