Very old fashion decor could do with a face lift and major upgrade. Rooms very close to each other which made for a lot of room noise with doors being accessed and voices. My room window faced another room window which doesn't give much privacy.

Stairs from roadside door to reception, were challenging with our luggage. Terrace area was in need of some redecorating and a tidy up.

Excellent welcome from the staff, with a lovely comfortable (but small) room. Guest house was of a traditional Portuguese style. Old town and places of interest just a short walk away.

Stairs without a lift and no potter for luggage. Not good for disabled guests.

Clean room and private bathroom. The accommodation was not far from the airport.

The building is quite old and the room is small. For 1 person it still feels tight. I took bus from Lisbon and forgot to check the stop and wrongfully assumed it is close to the bus station. Keep it in mind for planning the trip.

Perfect place for a cheaper weekend stay. Located in the city centre, 10 minutes from the airport by taxi. Quality adequate for the price. I cannot complain. Reception open 24h and will let you in anytime.

Room is quite small, rather for short stay. There was a smell from the sewage in the bathroom, for me it was not a big problem, but for sensitive people it may be problematic.

Good location - closed to the city centre (walking distance). Everything what is needed to stay for one or two nights. Good value for money (price / quality ratio).

The Pension was v. convenient for the the bus/ rail stations and only a 10-minute walk from town. The pension was quiet, and the staff very obliging. There is a roof garden with loungers - a definite plus.

The hotel's entrance is guarded by staff 24 hours a day and is very safe. The room is clean and the hot water is very comfortable! The location is excellent, there are many restaurants nearby, and it is also very close to Faro's main church and the seaside.

Could be noisy. Both from internal noises and external. I stayed at a quiet time but felt a busy night might be loud.

A strange smell in the room. Very tiny room for 2 people, even if it was a small double room, it was too small.

Very good location, near stations and city center and old town. Small balcony in our room. There is a terrace where you can take a drink or a coffee. Vending machine at the reception.

Good value for money. Ideal if you have an early morning flight from Faro Airport as it is only 3 minutes from the bus stop. The interior is older but functional and clean. They only take cash but the ATM is down the road.

For a British traveller, we expect a kettle to make tea or coffee. They did have a vending machine in reception, but not any good usually. Room was a small double, ideal for me, a solo traveller, might be a bit tight for a couple. No lift, so if you have mobility issues then it's not for you.

Small hotel, very close to the centre. Clean and tidy, basic room. Ensuite. Comfortable bed.

A clean room, with an ever-available, helpful reception; a convenient location for bus, train and town. It offers a rooftop terrace – a definite plus.
