The location is great for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is great, modern, very comfortable, and the different spaces are wonderful. The breakfast is really good.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful quiet area. Do not expect to do any activities. This hotel is meant to unwind. Lay on a bed, gaze over the water, jump in the pool, listen to the birds, enjoy the view and take in the wonderful smell of the flowers. Extremely friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and cozy outside dining area.

What a little gem to spend some time in! If you are looking for a place to spend a couple of days next to nature and just relax, I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is very relaxing, the pool, green areas, the rooms, the lounge, Mr Vasco the owner has this amazing energy of someone who loves what they do and makes sure you are enjoying your stay! Be prepared for the heat though, this area of Alentejo is very hot, but honestly it adds to the experience! The food was absolutely delicious, from that first bite until the last, accompanied by amazing fresh wine and a warm summer breeze! Try it, I'm sure you won't regret it!

The location is spectacular, on the edge of the backwaters of the Vale do Gaio dam. No sounds except those of nature. The services are great, and the warmth of the place is real. The rooms are very expensive. They are very simple, the furniture is of poor quality as well as the decoration. The internet connection is weak and the TV frequently goes down.

The breakfast was good, with variety and the products were fresh. The location was perfect: beautiful and peaceful.

The restaurant prices were disproportionate to the portion sizes, although the food was generally tasty. For less than half the cost, we had traditional Alentejo cuisine in the village of Torrão.

The location is excellent, and the hotel space is fantastic!!! The view is beautiful, and thanks to the concept, tranquility prevails, making the environment very calm and relaxing! The rooms are in great condition; we stayed in one with a view of the dam! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and practical (e.g., we wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail, which wasn't on the menu, but the waiter improvised. He used fresh mint, picked directly from the garden at the entrance).

The restaurant has excellent food but the last night of our stay it was busy and the kitchen & staff seemed to have been overwhelmed because it took forever to be able to order, and even longer to actually get the food. We arrived to the restaurant at 20h30 and only got food at 22h30, at a point where we were no longer hungry and wanted to go to bed. We complained and they offered starters and dessert free of charge. We didn't get dessert because once the food came, it was really good and a lot, so we were no longer hungry. However, when we checked out the next day, we did notice the starters on the bill after all. The owner of the hotel is very welcoming and friendly, I would definitely return. But he was not involved in the operations of the restaurant at night and I bet these issues wouldn't have happened if he was aware of the situation. Just my two cents. I'd still recommend it because the food was excellent. Just make sure you don't enter the restaurant hungry, and can wait a while.

Beautiful, calm surroundings, and spacious, well-equipped rooms offered the best setting for a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from our room was directly over the lake, providing the perfect backdrop to wake up to. The hotel has a restaurant that offers great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is short, focusing on local specialities, served in the most romantic garden. We went canoeing on the lake, which was a great experience, as there’s only nature around with no human intervention.
