The guest house has many stairs to the room (but the owner was helpful), the room is small and the bed is a little small for a couple. The breakfast is very basic (bread, cheese, cookie, tea or coffee) but fresh.

The owner is very very very nice and did his best to make us feel good. The location is great, central and quiet. The bed is comfortable, the a/c is independent and good. You can make tea/coffee in the shared kitchen.

Fabulous guest house situated in the heart of Beja. Room was spotless with comfy bed. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ideal. Must also stress the owner was a wonderful host.

It's an excellent place to stay, and the owner, Jorge, is incredibly friendly. He treats more like a friend than a guest. The property is conveniently located near most of the main attractions in Beja. I really enjoyed my time here!

Centre of Beja seems to be on the downward slope a bit which is unfortunate. However, it all feels very safe and the location of the guest house is great to explore Beja. For dinner we found better options in the newer parts of the town.

It's like staying in a well curated museum. The host Jorge is very attentive and friendly, the rooms are extravagant and spotlessly clean, the bathroom fairly new and very well taken care of, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice.

Jorge was a brilliant host who made us feel very welcome indeed. The Roman theme to the guesthouse was brilliant and unusual.

Parking a little tricky and stairs in guest house quite steep for older guests.

Jorge Pina, the owner, made us very welcome and looked after us very well. The decorations throughout are eclectic and show the owners love of the Roman history of Beja. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The interior honours Beja's tradition of the Pax Julia. That is, it's very Roman. The owner has gone to extraordinary lengths to furnish and decorate the place in the Roman tradition, right down to the standards of three Roman legions. I was the only resident that evening and enjoyed spectacular internet connectivity. I passed a very comfortable night and, in the morning, Jorge the owner arrived in time for my breakfast to prepare it and serve as steward. He also arranged for a taxi to come and take me away. All in all, an exceptional experience.

Jorge is very attentive and friendly host. He welcomed us personally and served us breakfast. The roman deco is very present, which gives a feeling-good atmosphere. All was very very clean. Room on the street, but no car passed during the night. it was very calm and very central. we could access main Beja's points of interest by feet. Stay there without hesitating ! We recommend.

There was nothing I didn't like, the bathroom was a little distant from the bed room but that was a minor problem.

I loved the Roman theme. It was great fun. The breakfast was terrific and Jorge was very attentive. The room large and comfortable enough for an emperor.
