The wifi didn’t work often in our room and we had trouble with the shower flooding.

Lovely place away from the hustle of the city, if you are looking for something a bit quieter it’s great. The facilities are good and the addition of a fridge in our room was an unexpected bonus. Staff were friendly and communicated well.

The wifi is not working. And the interior design of the hotel and the room is “seventies” as it’s called.

Good value for the money. Pool is working just fine. The inn is in a quiet neighborhood and a bit outside of the city center, so most of the time we had to use bolt / Uber to get to the city center for dinner. But the ride is fairly cheap for two (6-8 euros one way) and it’s ten to fifteen minutes walking distance to the beach. Checkin closes at 8 pm though. Make sure you let the staffs know if you will do late check in.

The room had a musty smell due to poor ventilation. I had the doors wide open to get some airflow for about an hour before I went in. It needs it. I slept with the slide door open and the shutter door locked hoping it would help but the room still had a weird smell. Not awful just a bit uncomfortable. Especially if you’re sensitive to smells.

About a half hour walk in to town - we enjoyed this but could be an issue for some, great to have a car. Room is basic / dark.

The hosts had a small dog which was quite noisy in the morning and very defensive if you came through the reception room. We are both OK with dogs but this could be upsetting for people who aren't. A baby gate might help limit its access to guests. We stayed in the building where the hosts lived, so you might not have this problem in other parts of the hotel. Not a criticism of the hotel, but it is quite a long walk uphill from the rail station or marina so be prepared if you are coming on foot carrying bags and consider taking a taxi.

The Moroccan decor of the room gave it a warm and cosy atmosphere. It was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice to have a veranda with a great view to the sea. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, letting us drop off our bags early and giving us directions to explore the area. We liked the rural surroundings and the closeness to the beach.

The "kitchen" was very sparsely and cheaply equipped. Other studio apartments are better equipped than mine was. I don't know if prices vary depending on that. The place is presented as a B&B; it is not.

A beautiful beach is approx 400m away. Views of the Atlantic and Lagos are good. Setting is quiet and tranquil. Maids were very helpful and responsive. The administrative manager, Aldina, was very attentive and helpful. I am not sure who the general manager is.

I had to wait upon arrival as no one was there. All the doors were locked, no one at the property, no one answering my calls. At first I thought it was some sort of scam but the owner appeared after 30 minutes (that was long enough to become worried and frustrated). No word of apology from him though, however, he did admit that this was their fault. He said that if I am unhappy he can give me money back as they do not like unhappy guests - that was a warm welcome... Apparently his colleague did not tell him that I am arriving. There was no hot water for one day but I admit I didn't report this. Turned out that the boiler was downstairs inside one of the rooms. As no guests were there at the time I think it's the owner's responsibility to check daily if everything is okay so that the guests don't have to complain about the water but I was told that since I didn't report this, they couldn't know something is wrong. Overall I had a feeling that I am a burden for the owner and he would prefer not to have to contact me at all.

Quietness around the hotel, the nature and the whole surroundings. The location is beautiful however, it's much more convenient for drivers than for pedestrians. Spacious and comfortable flat. Quite few bits need refurbishment but the whole place was neat and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped in oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and fridge along with cutlery, plates etc. Anything you might need is already there so that's a big advantage. This is a place for someone who prefers peace and greenness. There is a very nice vibe to the whole property. I think it has a lot of potential if taken care of.

Inn Seventies had a wonderful staff, that would prepare breakfast every morning and clean the studio regularly. This, together with the pools, made it a very enjoyable stay.

When we arrived, earlier than it was written in the description, we thought we're stuck in time. Several 70's cars around, chickens, no people and scenery like from Battle for Alamo. If I didn't read previous reviews I'd thought I got the wrong place. Then we got to the reception and got an unexpected upgrade from bedroom to an apartment. And the apartment was really good. Swimming pool was not open, is it only April, but the quietness of the place, vicinity of the beach, clean space made it all so worth it. It is better if you come with a car. It takes 20 min walk to the town, but coming back in the evenings is not nice since there is no public light last few hundred meters. But Uber or Bolt can take you for less than 4 €. Also, take a boat trip around cliffs and trip to Sagres to see the most amazing sunset in Europe! Sleeping here was enjoyable experience since you can hear ocean in the distance, birds and roosters in the morning and cows in the vicinity. If you need a good rest, this is the place!
