Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Inspira Liberdade Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, modern property that exceeded our expectations in terms of size and amenities. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with nice showers and a gym facility that was a pleasant surprise. The overall quality and design of the hotel were impressive, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The area felt safe, which was important for us as travelers. We also discovered a fun craft brewery right across the street that we really enjoyed visiting.

It took a while to work out how to operate the lights. At first we felt using the bathroom area with glass walls rather inhibiting but we got used to this. We were disappointed that there was no outside view from the window.
We thought the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The design of the ensuite room was intriguing and the small table was useful. The bed was very comfortable.

We had an amazing experience from the moment we reached with friendly helpful staff. Check in wasn’t until 3pm and we arrived around 10.30am- the staff were helpful if getting our rooms ready earlier and even managed an inter-connecting room which was brilliant for x4 friends! The location of the hotel was just a walking distance into the city which was perfect for us. The staff were always helpful and cheery whenever we we asked for help or advice. We also enjoyed our breakfast every morning. The staff were always welcoming. There is a spa available, sadly we didn’t have enough time to use on this visit. We would definitely come back! Thank you

Carpetting on the bathroom floor The shower was transparent and visible from the room which is quite awkward Any additional water (filtered tap water) charged 3 euros per bottle which is kind of a rip-off, especially compared to other Lisbon hotels

1. Authentic Style – A charming hotel with a beautifully designed interior that feels truly authentic. Our room was very comfortable, and I appreciated that the staff arranged an extra bed for my younger child. 2. Excellent Service – The personnel were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. 3. Thoughtful Touches – I enjoyed the welcome snacks provided in the room, which made us feel immediately at home. 4. We had a really good time here, they checked in us to the wrong room but it was an upgrade for us :) The wrong room came with a Jacuzzi and we really appreciated it. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious. Definitely recommend this hotel.

People were all very friendly and caring for us. Breakfast was just super and staff so helpful to guide us with ideas. Location is quite convenient and will help you a lot as it seats in the middle from Airport to port. So, perhaps 20' from airport and another 15' by car to port. Metro station is also rather close and recommended.

My room had a funny smell like it used to be a smoking room. I talked with the reception about it but they were not very interested.
Nice large room. Quiet at night. Close to many attractions and to metro and buses.
