The reason I booked this hotel was because they had an indoor pool. It was closed 1 of the 4 days I was there.

The location is great for beach area but it’s not close to many shopping areas by walking. It would have been helpful to know a car would be suggested to visit shopping areas nearby.

The location was great, employees were friendly, the food in the restaurant was good! Access to the beach and close by restaurants. The little shop was helpful for needed items!

We were initially allocated to a different room than what we had requested, but this was rectified next morning.

Good family rooms, beaches nearby, indoor pool, sufficient parking, playground. Very handy place for families. This was our second visit here. Staff is friendly and helpful.

honest, i think buffet its very limited- but i will give 7 over 10.

location its a must! everything is in good condtions and you see very clean areas and rooms, they are cleaning all over. rooms and bed are very confortable, you feel homy inside and out side pool are perfect nice place for have good time with family, we were with our son (6year old) and was a great time for three of us. we will go back for sure!

We could not figure out the aircon at all, balcony closed and locked should have allowed it to come on, instructions and control not great, however that was the only minor irritation. We will be back.

Excellent guy on reception, spoke all sorts of languages (well done sir). Clean, tidy, just the right stuff to cook simple no fuss meals. Toilet and shower clean, no mould or lingering smells. Beds were firm, clean and bedding changed every couple of days. Living area sparse but what are you doing in the room on an evening? There is a tv with all manner of channels incl Portugese obes which are mostly in English (explains why all the locals speak it so well - thank you). We will be back.

I was very disappointed about the indoor pool was closed all Sunday for cleaning .

the property is very well located, well equipped apt, super spacious rooms, large and very clean bathrooms. I didn't like to confirm before booking and getting there the indoor pool is closed all Sunday for cleaning. cleaning and maintenance should be done on mondays and weekends

The apartment was a little noisy with some neighbours but understandable as the apartments are big, open plan and tiled, so sound travels. I imagine it is quite a bustling place during the high season in the summer, but the noise didn't bother us too much as we were on holiday.

The location is ideal for kids, easy to walk a few steps to the beach, the playground, the indoor heated pool and the outdoor pool, free parking, restaurants and cafes nearby and a short car trip to the nearest supermarkets. I would highly recommend for families. The apartment was bright, really spacious and very very clean.

it was very nice, even got an upgrade for a beautiful large garden apartment next to the pool. nice atmosphere,, ver quiet, only sound of waves, next to the beach, at the very end of Portimao, so no traffic. beach access., wondeful beach with sand and cliffs. little shop, It was insane value, very cheap off season. had 2 lovely days of rest after walking the fisherman's trail. Bus stops nearby to go to the railway station.

The fridge could’ve been a bit better, but served it’s purpose for soft drinks

The property was ideally located, as you have the Vau beach seconds away which was a lot quieter than Praia Da Rocha, and can get to the busier shopping area within 5-10 min walk. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities needed for a 10 day trip, the AC was great once we figured how to work it. The pool and bar area were great too, there were always sun beds available and there was plenty of good drinks at the bar. The on site shop is also very good, and is cheaper for most items than you’ll find in the centre. I would definitely stay and recommend Jardim do Vau to anyone looking at staying in the Algarve.
