Could be a bit more modern. Breakfast could be upgraded.

It's very good value for money. The hotel is not super modern, but it has its own charm (although not all will like it). It's fine for a day or two. Surroundings are quiet.

We had one of those room where you have to add the card key to enable electricity, but you ALSO had to flip a switch. Maybe because of this setup, maybe because of something else, the power plugs on the first day didn't work. This was magically fixed on our second day. The most concerning thing was, arriving late, tired on the second day, our card key didn't work. The corridor phone didn't work. I had to go to the reception 4 times before the concierge managed to open our door with a regular key because the locks use batteries and he couldn't change them then. The concierge was extremely friendly, but this saw us stranded in the corridor, with our shopping for 45 minutes trying to get into the room. This was not the end of the day we expected at 11:30pm.

The room was comfy, easy parking outside (although it looked like it can get busy), the area was silent.

Very comfortable modern hotel in a quiet street with loads of free parking. 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and on a bus route. Really enjoyed our short stay in this pretty town.

The light in the room and decoration needed an update. The pillows and mattress could also be improved. I couldn't get the wifi to work, maybe a problem with the router as the connection couldn't be established.

Nice big room with air conditioning. Very nice and helpful staff. Fair cost to what it offers.

The bed was too hard for me and I didn't sleep well at all. The windows don't shut completely and outside noise comes in easily.

The room was pleasant and clean. The bathroom was nice and clean. The hotel itself was decent enough. The woman on reception was very helpful. The bed linen was white and crisp. Room service was good. The air con was very effective and didn't make me ill so is probably well maintained. A faulty shutter on the window was fixed promptly without a fuss.

Being charged extra on arrival for two people to stay in a double room with a double bed !!!! What is that all about !!!! Ridiculous, we should have been charged extra if one person wanted to stay in the room not the other way round.

We were extremely disappointed when we arrived. I had booked two DOUBLE rooms and I assumed that being double rooms with double beds that I had booked for two people. This was not the case and we were charged another 15 euros (it would have been 30 euros if four people had travelled as originally planned, however, one person had cancelled so there was only one person in one of the rooms. Apparently it was an extra 15 euros for two people to stay in the room. I felt this was very misleading as it didn't make this clear when we booked and I have never come across this before where two people have to pay more to stay in a double room - there's usually a supplement if one person wants to stay in a double room not the other way round. It was a rip-off. Other than that the hotel was very good, very clean and in a good location I just don't like sneaky ways of charging you extra. You live and learn - it is something I will double check in future.

The decor of this hotel was beautifully presented ' olde worlde'. It made a pleasant change. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The town itself lends more to a short stay, in our opinion. Pleasant in the evening to walk downtown and have a drink, meal or both by the canal whilst watching the activity on the canal.

breakfast could be a bit earlier. Cold drinks should be available in the hotel. There is nothing around the hotel (city center 10 min walk away), no café, no restaurant, no shop, but this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

The hotel was perfect. Rooms are super-large and hyper-comfortable, location is fine, staff is gentle, ... The price is very modest but this is not the reason why the ratio Quality to Price is so high. The reason is the quality. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will book there.
