No bar service at the pools. Paper plates & disposable cutlery at pool bar not appreciated. Great variety at breakfast but horrible coffee & cold food that should be hot.

Beautiful new room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Loved the different pools & great only adults one. Transport to Marina if required. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Especially the waiting staff down the Marina restaurant & Nelio on reception who made us feel very special. Lovely spa

There is nowhere for non smokers to relax outdoors. The bed was a little too firm. There’s no mini bar in the room. The hairdryer was one of those awful hotels fixtures that has only one temperature and no flue to direct the airflow. This one also had a very short, very tight cord that made it really difficult for one to dry one’s hair in front of the mirror.

The swimming pools and lakeside position are great. The bedroom was a good size. The breakfast was also good.

The restaurant A Panela has an amazing view. The food was super delicious and I had the best sangria on my whole trip. The waiter came from Nepal, unfortunately I forgot his name, his service was excellent. I also met the dessert chef and he recommended me one of his highlights. His dessert looked like a piece of art and tasted like a dream.

In my view, 5 star hotel is a 5 star hotel. Everything needs to be perfect and this hotel has many room to improve to be considered a 5 star rated hotel. Material are showing deterioration, garage a bit dark, service despite the kindness and professionalism of the associates needs to improve in speed. Probably a cultural change is needed as profit shouldn’t result from understaffed initiatives (cost and number of workers). I think is clear that there is understaffed situations (nautic club).

We spent 5 wonderful nights at Lago Montargil AP Conference & Spa as a family and had an unforgettable experience. The facilities are beautiful, the surroundings peaceful, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Sr. António Filho from the buffet – such a kind and warm person! Our kids absolutely loved meeting him. He made us feel welcome every single day with his friendliness and care. Perfect for families looking to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy excellent hospitality. We’ll definitely return!

Amazing breakfast and buffet, great variety. Incredible pools and spa. The adults only pool is a big bonus. Fun activities by the lake. The staff is super nice, our room was comfy, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely coming back.

Amazing Stay – Just Like a Tropical Paradise! 🌴 Despite some mixed reviews we saw earlier, our experience at this hotel was fantastic! ✨ The territory is stunning – just like in a tropical resort or an oasis. Everything is beautifully maintained, with palm trees, pools, and lush greenery all around. It really feels like you're in a postcard! 🏨 Our room was excellent – spacious, clean, and with a lovely view of the pool surrounded by palm trees. 🙌 The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. 🍽️ Food and drinks were totally fine – we especially enjoyed the breakfast (and even had live piano music in the mornings 🎹!). 🎂 They surprised us with a little cake and bubbly on a birthday – such a thoughtful touch! 🪑 There are several restaurants: one à la carte, and one with buffet options. We liked the à la carte one better – you can sit outside on the terrace with no buffet crowds. 💆‍♀️ We didn’t try the SPA, but everything else was great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend AP Lago Montargil Conference & Spa for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting. P.S. I believe complaints usually start in high season when it gets too busy – the staff seemed to manage well during our stay in mid-June.

Everything. The staff were top notch, the best stay I have ever been so far, beautiful place, beautiful staff. Love the Chef, Chef Paulo what an amazing guy and made delicious food. I loved so much I can not describe in words and only come back but this time I am taking my friends
