Hotel lack of maintenance

Only need a couple of updates,renovation. But it's not bad at all!

Good breakfast,very nice stuff working,good sized rooms. They were very attentive with us, we ask for extra bed,they confirmed by email,very professional. Everything was perfect. The room view is awesome!

Quite old and seems unclean, though it might be due to the old facilities that cannot be made cleaner. The toilet had yellow / brown lime lines. There was a hair in a bathroom.

It’s a bit faded opulence and in terms of cleanliness it’s not quite living up to it’s once and former glory. (The small fridge in the room hadn’t been cleaned in months and was nothing less than a health hazard!) I can’t speak for the golfing part although the course looked immaculate however as a hotel they are not very informative about the area and have little of any use to visitors The staff where very responsive but had little to offer They didn’t even have any tea to replenish the stuff offered in the room a

It was located where we wanted to be and the rooms where large and airy and obviously once very top class. Breakfast was OK though not spectacular a pretty average buffet

the Wifi in our room was horrible the worst we have had during our hole trip. I would expect a resort to have much better wifi. there were a couple of times I had to actually leave my room walk around in the hall to get reception. Not sure if this is the case in other areas but in ours it was. very frustrating.

The breakfast was very simple. Cooked eggs,bacon,sausage were cooked beforehand and left to keep warm in trays but it just dried the food out. The evening meal was awful. Overcooked prawn,tasteless white looking bolgonaise on top of too much spaghetti. The outside of the building was very off putting,in desperate need of a lick of paint. The swimming pool was too small,looked like a kiddies pool.

Grilled salmon was lovely as well as salmon linguine,fresh and cooked to perfection. All staff were very friendly,professional and paid attention to your wishes. Extremely clean. The golf course was beautiful.

The pool needed the covering to make the water warmer. The beds could have been softer. The jacuzzi wasn't working but that was due to covid and not the hotel. The handicap elevator got stuck a few times with my elderly in-laws inside!

We had a terrible experience with a property that was wrongly advertised. We chose to leave and had nowhere to go. This hotel came up on Booking and saved our mini holiday. It is set in the middle of a beautiful golf course, surrounded by green and nature, plus it is outside the city so one can relax in a peaceful and tranquil environment.

Restaurant didn’t have a lot on the menu. Bar area not big enough. Breakfast (bacon) was burned every morning. Air conditioning very noisy. Need to be updated in all areas.

Very quite due to the location. Clean and comfortable. Helpful front desk staff.

Beds were terrible, I landed up rather trying to sleep on the couch. Rooms were infested with mosquitoes. Restaurant staff for dinner were rude. Breakfast staff were non existent and when they did appear, were rude. Breakfast starts at 7am... we arrived at 7.00am couldn't find a table. We were not allowed to sit outside. By 7.20 when we were seated..next to strangers... there was hardly Breakfast left. We left at 7.30am. There was not even a person checking on the Breakfast to fill up dishes.

The hotel is run down. It could be a nice hotel if they gave it a coat of paint and did some maintenence in the rooms and elsewhere. If they want to provide juice at breakfast they should provide fruit juice and not a sugar laced replacement.

lift not working as I am mobility conditioned a terrible problem; awful conservation of services; private wc with broken door; in the first night one staff members opened our door; several calls in the night from reception always a mistake: ac not working and tried to arrange in the second day;
