With a very nice pool, a beautiful garden, tennis court and a big estate for your morning walks, Monte João Roupeiro had it all. We were walking the Rota Vincentina and taxis are a bit scarce. With the help of kind Portuguese people we managed! (The son of the restaurant owner gave us a lift as no taxis were available).

Everything was great!

This property is spacious, relaxing, clean, and comfortable. We loved how nice (Tania?) was and how she took time out of her busy day to interact with my young daughter. My daughter loved the pool even though it was cool in November. We actually choose here because we needed to do laundry halfway through our trip and they let us help ourselves to the washing machines, which was super helpful. We felt at home here. The holiday cottage had a kitchen that was just right for us to cook dinner. The property grounds had pretty flowers, eucalyptus trees and citrus trees blossoming. We met Poochi and enjoyed the antics of the friendly cats on the property. The nearby beaches are: WOW!

There is nothing we did not enjoy!

What a fabulous place! Beautiful grounds with a terrific pool and well-maintained garden. Breakfast was delicious and abundant - bread, cereal, meats, cheese, pancakes, fruit, croissants, coffee, juice and tea! The staff, especially Gregorio and Lourdes, were friendly and helpful. The entire place is spotless. It's evident they love to host their guests and take great pride in their lovely rural estate. We felt completely at home in this restored farmhouse near Azenjur and Odeceixe.

Everything was really good. Just in my opinion the mattresses are no as comfortable, but nothing dramatic (I am just used to very good mattresses).

The breakfast is an absolute 10. The area around is so well- preserved: pool, garden, etc. They do offer massage services for very fair price. The do allow dogs & the extra is just 10 euros. They have reception open all time, so no problem with late check in. They do offer towels for the pool.

Almost everything was very good, but if I had to pick a thing, this was the first accommodation we had in Portugal where our kitchen did not come with oil and basic spices. The hosts provided this when we asked it to them, but this seems to be pretty standard in al other (also more low-cost) accomodations.

We really enjoyed breakfast and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The kids loved the beach and the canoe on the pond.

We stayed at this beautiful agroturismo for almost two weeks and loved everything about it! The apartments get cleaned every day which we didn‘t expect but enjoyed so much. The whole property is perfectly clean and well maintained. The hosts and all staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is just the best! (wish we could have taken the delicious marmelade home :-)). They also have donkeys to pet and our two little girls loved them. Praia de Odeceixe is only a 10 min. car ride away, Ajezur with it‘s beautiful market and restaurants about 15 Min. We can‘t wait to return next year…

The room (big, super confortable with view to the pool and sunset every day!!) and the house (including beautiful gardens, dining room with kitchen access and own spot in the fridge, swimming pool) were just WOW. Felt like home. Breakfast absolutely amazing too with so much variety and local products (Alentejo bread and cheeses, homemade jams, freshly baked cakes, just so so yummy!!). First day I was a bit unlucky with other guests with some really noisy children playing in the pool but then they left and the peace returned :) Very nice location next to Odeceixe! In no time can be at the beach or have great dinners in the surroundings.

We liked absolutely everything

Perfect accommodation for this price. We lived in a separate house with everything we needed, including a barbecue. It was very clean and cozy, surrounded by beautiful nature, the price included an excellent breakfast, staff was friendly - we loved it!

Internet signal strength was poor throughout but considering the rural location it's hardly surprising . Some bacon or sausage with the scrambled egg at breakfast would be an improvement .

Large and spacious property and very clean . Bathrooms were tremendous with great showers . Nature rambles available in all directions from the front gate . Beaches and clifftop walks nearby . Seafood at nearby restaurants exceptional . Swimming pool is amazing and very clean . Family run and everyone is involved .
