    can't think of anything

An absolute gem if you are looking for a peaceful place surrounded by the hills and almost no one in the neighbourhood. Beg of August is a tricky time to travel with the school holidays and jam packed beaches. Finding a free room in the place like Nave Redonda was pure luck! A lovely and hospitable owner, superb breakfast (with lots of cheese!!), beautiful location, fresh air and nature all around, swimming pool onsight (I didn't get to use it much though) and a wonderful experience all around. The place is within an hour drive to lots of secluded beaches on the South West coast of Portugal - away from the Algrave coast packed choc-a-block with crowds. Loved the place and would certainly go back!

Cute accomodation surrounded by the fascinating countryside of southern Alentejo. I loved relaxing at its swimming pool between an excursion and the other.

The room was on the small side but I understand the ones on the hill are spacious.

Very peaceful location. Ideal if you want to escape people. The hammocks were a nice touch.

wifi didn't work very well in the room, not a big issue for us but may be for some.

Great breakfast, lovely location, brilliant staff, quiet good sized pool...at a very reasonable price. Really quiet and peaceful. You'll need a car to get around as not much around the local area, but that's why it's so nice.

    nothing!

We were welcome by the owner of the property. Very friendly, he showed us the room, informed about local restaurant and gave us the wifi password. The service was very complete. The village is quite, perfect to relax. Very near Costa vicentina, Serra Monchique and Algarve, easy to make day trips. The breakfast was simple and delicious. At the check out we were given a jar of local strawberry jam. Very nice. Would definitely come back.

The sheets and towels were very hard and noisy, every time one of us moved in the night you could hear the sheets rustle. The shower could use a door as it is very easy to get water all over the bathroom floor.

The property is pretty and we liked the way the room was set out. The swimming pool is a good size and has places to relax in the sunshine or shade.

Beautiful tranquil location, very relaxing if you want to get away from it all but not too far from mountains, beaches, villages and even Faro airport . Nice friendly owners. Restaurant nearby.

The place is ideally located close to the beautiful western coast and a national park, ideal for nature and seaside lovers. The staff was most helpful with any questions we had, and very friendly at all times. The breakfast was superb, and the food they offered in their little restaurant a very good value for money. It also has a small pool with bar area, very pleasant to cool down after a long hot day. The hotel is run by a young dedicated couple, and they really put their hearts and souls in it, working from early in the morning till late at night to ensure that everything is perfect for the guests. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit that area.

No supermarket nearby. The minimarket in the village is very tiny.

    Nothing

Price, very reasonable. Owners, are lovely and helpful people. Quietness. Really nice pool and garden for small hotel. Owners also own restaurant nearby for evening meal which is really nice (and cheap).
