The lobby is all refurbished, but the bedrooms are very old !!!! You really get desapointed when the elevator opens the doors .... Small TV Terrible carpet And the food at the restaurant ... frozen pizza ! Although the staff is very nice it is a shame that the rooms are so old!

Staff is nice , lobby is modern and fancy! Breakfast is all you need to my opinion.

    No complaints really.

I have visited many times, and always get a welcome from staff, who are hard working and friendly to all. They had a big bunch of UK university students on an annual geography visit, and they handled that well, not forgetting their 'regulars'. As I'm working, the 0600 start to breakfast is brilliant, and of a high standard....they have changed the sausages since last visit and they are now superb, and the scrambled eggs always excellent, and of course the Alentejo bread.

Still you can see that the hotel is not fully renovated. Poor gym in front of the reception. Not the best place for it.

This hotel was fine for our needs and on the outside of town which is what I wanted with no issues with parking. We were only there for 1 night and was perfectly fine although the rooms were not very luxurious. They were however clean and the staff very helpful

The location was a little out of town but you have the shopping centre opposite but you need a car to make exploring easier.

I loved the reaction of my kids they loved it, the pool, I couldn't get them out! the games area, the breakfast was great plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms we used desperately needed refurbishment. Bits were falling off, the cupboard were out of alignment.Decor was very faded. If we were paying full price it would have been poor value for money.

( didn't get it back during my stay so I bougth new one) Room is very old and really need some renovation. Bathroom as well. Carpets are not fresh and dust behind furniture need to be cleaned properly. Door to bathroom was broken. And was not fixed during our stay. Room 238. So it is not good value for money.

The pool area could do with some improvement (shabby in certain areas).

We went to Novotel Setubal as a family of four with two young children. The service was outstanding, the facilities were great and the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Overall we had a fab experience with cocktails by the pool!!! Setubal is great for seafood dining and its outstanding natural beauty, the beaches at Arrabida are to die for and nearby Troia has a casino! However, in order to get the best experience you will need to hire a car.

Very nice personel!!! Nice pool Area. Not far from some great beaches. Try Praia Meco around 35 km from Setubal. Really long beach and not too crowded. Within walking distance from large shopping mall with restaurant area and Jumbo supermarket. Very good breakfast with both cold and warm dishes. Perfect for familes in family roms.

This hotel charged us the highest rate ever in twenty years for a dog in our room.......15euros per night and no extras for the dog. I am surprised at Novotel also your carpets need a deep clean or replacing. We have stayed in other Accor hotels and by far this was the least dog freindly. The staff were very good!!

There was no iron available. No irons were in the rooms and when we asked for one at reception they didn't have one (someone must have been using it). This wouldn't put me off staying again but if you are staying here I'd recommend taking a travel iron.

The hotel staff were always available to help with anything and were very friendly. The cleanliness was impressive- staff were always cleaning around the hotel. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The hot water was always hot! Loads of storage space for clothes and cases etc. The food was very good. The hotel is very close (a couple of minutes walking distance) to a huge shopping centre (which included a massive supermarket) This was very handy. Also a five minute walk to local traditional cafes and shops. I felt safe in this hotel- it was locked at night and someone was always at reception.

Not a particularly pleasant neighbourhood, but easy access to town centre and exits from city to main roads by car.

Freindly staff at desk. Easy to find on arriving in Setubal from Lisboa. Plenty of sitting areas inside and out, tennis court and pool a plus if staying for longer! Space to walk around in grounds.

it was a pity the cooked breakfast was not very hot. Also the 'hot' water for the tea was tepid.

Very comfy bed and pleasant room. Bathroom in need of refurb. Had requested shower due to mobility problems but none available.
