There was an issue with our neighbours concerning noise and how safe we felt, but this had nothing to do with the staff.

Beds had been well slept on, a dip in the middle! This is an older building than the other Evora hostel where registration and breakfast operates. This is just a comment not something we didn't like.

The kitchen for sleeping in the dorm was better than the one for the ones who sleeps with their own room.

The location was great and the room was really nice. There was a kitchen to use for everyone.

The other guests where slamming the doors early in the morning, which prevented any type of sleeping in.

The room was rather hot, also during the night with AC turned on.

The rooms were tidy and comfortable. In both buildings, there is a kitchen available for residents. The staff was super friendly and supplied us with a map of the main attractions of Evora.

If I really had to say something here, maybe I'm not keen on processed ham and margarine instead of butter....but for a couple of days these won't kill me, at least you start the day with something in your stomach

because of our age we found the separate bathroom inconvenient. The small courtyard was immediately outside our bedroom and the very early risers, you know who you are if you are reading this woke us up at 6,00am talking very loudly about their next trip, as we did not see the shared rooms we cannot comment on them but guests who I spoke to were ok with the accommodation.

the welcome from the receptionist was so warm and friendly she went through all the necessary info very thoroughly . it was easy to find and just a small walk to the centre of the town. because we were travelling in a car and had a blue disable badge we parked outside the door. perhaps anyone coming by car might find parking a problem. it was brilliant to meet young travellers from all countries as we are slightly on the mature side (82 and 81) we had a private bathroom but it was a step outside our double room to the room next door. rate per night included a basic breakfast

Go there if you want to have a clean safe space with a lounge area to work and eat.. You want to be 10 min walking from bus terminal and 5 minutes to major plaza.

Really comfy spot not too far from the bus stations. Is a bit of a walk to the bigger supermarket but still walkable. Beds comfy and quieter hours are enforced. Easy walk to the sites around town. Staff very helpful.

There is no parking around the area and the locks were a nightmare! Very difficult to open and close the doors. After 5 mins my shower went as cold as ice, there are a lot of guests, you can't just have a small deposit for hot water.

Nice premises, plenty of amenities and easy to use. The young lady at the reception was awesome, very quirky and lovely.

This place is a great value for the money. It's pretty centrally located. I had a private room across the street from the main part of the hostel, what houses the dorm rooms. So I got to enjoy the quieter side of the hostel.

Well maybe only some showers could be upgraded but that's not critical.

This is so far one of the best hostels I've stayed at. It really feels like home -we came just for two days but ended up staying for ten. There is a perfect common space, excellent WI fi, a great kitchen - spacious so you can really enjoy cooking here. It's nice the breakfast is included-it's simple, but good. And the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - we had some issue during our stay but they fixed everything in the best way possible. And the place is exceptionally clean. So definitely highly recommended-the best place to stay in Evora

The room was very small for a family of three; one bed was a mattress on the floor. Also, I thought we booked a room with private bathroom, but we got a shared one. This said, all was well, we didn't even notice other guests using the bathroom.

The location was great, staff friendly and there was breakfast.

The soundproofness isn’t good, noise from the central public space was very clearly heard.

Breakfast was very poor and late in the morning (starts at 8 am, no good if you have to travel early in the morning). WiFi sometimes doesn’t work well. Towels are not free, you have to pay. If you chose twin or private room you’ll be in another building so not so comfortable because the main facilities are in the main building.

I’d say everything good except the breakfast. Also they don’t provide towels (they ask you money if you want some towels). The location is great.
