Very beautiful and stylish villa built in 1911. Stylishly furnished with original furniture, many original details. Even the shower in our bathroom was also from 1911. We stayed in junior which was suite spacious and comfortable, with own terrace. The garden surrounding the villa was beautiful and well-kept. Admiring the sunset on the terrace of the villa tower was very romantic. The breakfast was abundant, a large selection of local sausages, cheeses, sweets, fruits. Hosts, Andreś and Susana were very hospitable and super friendly. It's a pity that we only stayed for 2 days. We will definitely visit again, very nice and calm area generally.

Not the hotel’s fault but the church bells next door rang all night! Earplugs might be advisable.

Absolutely beautiful property, lovingly maintained in traditional style. Stunning gardens with lots of places to relax, and a beautiful pool for recovery after a long day of walking. Spotlessly clean. Sumptuous breakfast included. Truly a luxurious little haven, and one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the fortune of staying.

The beds were a bit hard. A later check in would be helpful, Andreas was very accommodating waiting for us as we were in town and there was no taxi or Uber. Our lovely server at dinner offered his services to drive us out at the end of his shift.

This is a beautiful property with a romantic history that Andres, the current owner and grandson of one of only 2 families who have owned this property will share with you. Big, comfortable rooms, gorgeous garden to hang out in and lovely pool (that's warm!). I highly recommend! And, the breakfast is AMAZING--not one of these factory pastry kind of buffets, but pastries that are fresh and local.

We had the most amazing welcome and tour of the property by the owners, who were so friendly. The house itself is beautiful and is set in a large garden with relaxing areas to sit. The breakfast was fabulous, the best out of our week cycling the Camino Way. There is a secure garage to store our bikes too. This was a great location for a group of friends to get together! Lovely old villa, beautifully preserved with original features and furniture. Great views from the tower. Large garden area with pool and variety of places to sit and relax. Family very welcoming and so committed to looking after the guests. Good breakfast.

My husband and I were walking the Coastal Camino Portuguese and were switching to the Central Camino. This hotel was in a perfect location for us to spend the night. I saw the pictures online and just HAD to stay there. The whole property is filled with history and is MAGICAL. From the manicured gardens and arbors to the pool area (in which we swam in late April) everything was perfect. The host gave us a tour of the family part of the property complete with family photos- this place has been in the family for generations! We were even allowed to climb the tower and go on the high up balcony for views over the city. I think this home has 6 guest rooms. Ours was on floor zero facing the back gardens. It was a great room. The breakfast in the antique filled dining room was over the top with selections. I can't say enough about their hospitality. If you love history and really want to stay someplace special, THIS is the place to stay.

Beautiful historical hotel and well, it’s a palace so pretty swanky. I felt like a princess as I was walking the Camino and loved the pampering after a long days walk. Fabulous and spacious suite with a view of the river. Wonderfully prepared breakfast!

There was nothing we did not like. It exceeded our expectations and then some!!!!

Susana and Andres welcomed us into their home like we were family! The Villa was spectacular with incredible period detail down to the light switches! The breakfast was amazing! One of the best accommodations on the Coastal Caminha!!!

The place far exceeded our expectations. The host and hostess and the staff were all wonderful. We enjoyed learning the history of the place from the host who greeted us when we arrived and gave us a grand tour.
