Found the bed very hard. (Pillows great, blankets good.) The trams driving by were hard to ignore.

The room was smelling every morning between 09:00-12:00 (Lisbon must have a general drainage issue in many houses). Not comfortable WFH facilities, poor WiFi connection.

Convenient location (3 minutes walk from the subway, downtown strolling, 7 minutes away from the central train station), value for money, cycling lanes, very clean, nice view, window in the room.

You can’t do anything about the place across the street. Would step out the door and there would be people asking for money. I know they are in a difficult way, but one has only so much to give, they are unfortunate, but one can do only so much.

Great location, close to all tourist attractions. Most staff very friendly and informative. Breakfast good, fresh and a good start to the day. Food staff were excellent and very friendly. Cleaning staff do a great job.

Breakfast was included but not very rich. Apart from a variety of cheese, butter, jam, ham, corn flakes and bread, there is not much variety. The air conditioner in the room was noisy and not very efficient.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The famous tram number 28 is 1 minute walk away. The hotel is old but clean enough. One feels like staying in a good hotel in the 1970s. The staff is helpful. My daughter especially liked the old-style open elevator. If you do not expect too much luxury and comfort, it is possible to start walking around the center as soon as you step out of the hotel. There are 2 supermarkets for necessities very close by. Our room was cleaned and beds were made daily.

Toilet has a sewage smell when the toilet window was left closed. But once you leave the window open, the smell is gone. So it is manageable.

apartment is poor,lack of facilities, air conditioner was stuck in +25, we were unable to change a temperature and night time feel like hell 🥹🥹 we were unable to open windows because there were lost of mosquitoes, my kid's face is fully beaten. in bathroom was not any shampoo or shower gel, was not water. apartment was cleaned, they did cleand second day also, but in the hall was some smell of chemicals

The staff was very nice except for a third woman at the reception was always on her phone, almost looked like we were bothering her when asking for our keys. Also, soundproofing was maybe not great. We never had a problem and had calm nights, except one night some rude people came back at 2 am talking in the corridor and being noisy.

The location is perfect for visiting the city. The room was clean and very nice! I read that the rooms were old and needed restoration. Maybe we were lucky (room 514) but our room exceeded expectations, with a huge, clean, and comfortable bathroom. For the price we pay, I have no complaints. Breakfast was indeed very very basic (bread, jam, ham, cheese, cereals, and coffee, and since I am vegan my only breakfast was bread and jam, with no soy milk for the cereals) but it was not part of the reservation, so it was a pleasant surprise. The man at the reception speaks very good English. One woman did not but she was so friendly and nice and tried to communicate with sign and broken English. I would go back.

The room wasn’t very clean. There were quite a lot of dust on the floor. The breakfast is a plus but it’s quite modest. It was a bit strange that towels and soap were being changed every day although we didn’t leave any requests. It was a bit loud at night because of the tram.

The most wonderful location in the Baixa and incredible views over Alfama. In a 5 minutes walk there is a starting point of the tram 28.

The double bed was size 120sm, which is QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE for 2 people. No hair dryer in the room, you can borrow one at the reception.
