It didn’t have a stamp for my Camino credential

I loved this such a beautiful setting lovely to wander around and see the items from the Pharmacia on display. Kitchen had fruit, cake and coffee readily available

Despite sound insulation on the window shutters the noise from outside was particularly noticeable until dawn.

Really comfortable bedroom & bathroom in a historic building. The use of a kitchen for drinks & snacks was much appreciated. The roof terrace is a great place to spend time.

Nothing – no complaints at all

Excellent location and a quirky building which added value to our one night in the city. Juan on checking was excellent and the terrace roof and views were an added bonus. We love this place and would recommend it to anybody and come back again. One tip is to park in the public car park across the river and walk to the hotel – slightly over five minutes before checking in. The price of the car park is ridiculously cheap.

It was a long walk from the parking (across the bridge). Not being able to deposit a large suitcase outside the entrance made arrival difficult.

The location in an upmarket pedestrian street was very good. It was good to be able to make coffee or tea in the equipped kitchen was a nice touch. The cakes/biscuits and fruit were very welcome. The room was spacious and the bathroom had everything we expected.

Fabulous location. Comfortable rooms and lift access. We had the room with a little balcony on the 5th floor and it was perfect. Great views from our room and also the roof top. Little kitchen on ground floor with tea coffee etc. If arriving by car or public transport it’s just a 2 minute walk from the end of the street.

Great place to stay in the center of Coimbra. So much is within walking distance and a great, reasonably priced guesthouse. Tomas at the front desk was very personable and helpful.

The outdoor patio and rooftop terrace were nothing to write home about.

The location is excellent. Having an elevator was a real bonus. Interesting decor fitting the theme of the building. Simple, no frills room. Very clean and comfortable.

Only thing we would have liked is tea / coffee making in room. Note that there is a kitchen with a coffee machine you could use, which we did.

Fantastic location and beautiful rooms. Staff very helpful. Recommend booking Taberna Laura round the corner for food. The pigs cheeks were outstanding.

The location was perfect. It was on a pedestrian street that was easily accessible and close to bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious and well appointed.

An amazing place in the heart of Coimbra! An excellent transformation of an old pharmacy to a pretty guesthouse. Very clean rooms, nicely decorated with comfortable bed and a big bathroom.
