Just be aware that it is a walk-up, and a lot of stairs and plan/pack accordingly. This can't be helped, and the building felt very safe, just make sure you have the mobility to conquer the staircase. Maybe move the chair or put a smaller one in the 2nd bedroom for a bit more space.

Miguel was SO wonderful, immediately answered questions/was available on whatsapp, was gracious with arrival time and had some treats for us upon arrival, which we really enjoyed! The apartment was VERY clean, and it's in a great location to walk or take a bus/tram to anywhere. Miguel gave great recommendations and a buch of info. for things close to be able to do and see. Having the extra toilet while sharing the apartment with a friend was really nice for privacy.

I got used to the stairs, but initially it was a workout.

Miguel was wonderful and made the stay so much better. He has helpful in suggesting restaurants and outings. Lovely to work with! The apartment was very clean and the living room/kitchen was spacious. Miguel had left some snacks for us and that was a delight.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of things, right along the the tramline too. Lots of good options for food & drink. The flat is on the fifth floor without a lift, so this may be challenging for some. The kitchen is really well equipped, very thoughtful. Overall I couldn't recommend it highly enough, we will definitely be back!

The standard check in time of 4pm is quite late compared to many places I have stayed internationally especially when we arrived on an early morning flight so had to hang about. To be fair thought the host allowed us to leave bags and we got in earlier so it was a minor inconvenience that probably won't affect everyone. Like others mentioned the apartment is in the attic above floor 5 so many steps. This didn't affect us at all other than improve our fitness and of course actually makes the apartment quiet as it's so high up. worth mentioning though in case you have mobility issues.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment. I am a very regular traveller and like to be fair and constructive in my reviews. The apartment is in a fantastic location very close the centre and was very quiet even being in the city centre. we felt very at home and could easily have stayed longer. The apartment is very well equipped and has many kitchen and bathroom essentials in case you have forgotten or only carry hand luggage. Lots of hot water and beds comfy and apartment clean. Host was very friendly with excellent communication and information. I can't really fault anything and was towards the top of place I have stayed during my travels. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I can't say anything negative, but it was sometimes difficult to climb the stairs to the 6th floor after a tired day, but it was not too tiring. The stairs are not too steep and it is possible to rest.

The location of the house was excellent. It is possible to reach many touristic areas on foot. Many places were even closer than they appeared on the map. The house was very clean and all our needs were available in the house. When we first arrived home, a bottle of wine and some snacks were waiting for us. After a tiring journey, these treats were wonderful for us. Our host Miguel is very helpful. He gave us a list of places to visit in the city and answered our questions quickly. Miguel made our life easier. I spent 3 nights in this apartment with two friends and we all left very satisfied with the apartment.

Location was excellent being close to a number of attractions, transport links and we were spoilt for choice for restaurants, bakeries etc. We were met by the host and a generous welcome basket full of local treats. Nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was fully stocked with towels, linen and essentials. Wife and daughter were very happy to find a range of good quality toiletries too. A number of reviews mention the stairs but they were not a problem for us in our late 50s with basic fitness. Apartment was quiet and had everything we wanted for our stay. We loved Lisbon and we will look to return someday. We will stay here again.

We love everything except we are a group between 60-70 years old. A little difficult for us to climb up stairs with luggage’s.

Be warned, if you are not physically fit, or have large suitcases, there are 116 steps up to the apartment! Also the lights in the stairs are on very short timers, and would occasionally go out before we reached the top, leaving us in the dark until we could feel around for the switch on the next landing. We chalked it up as part of the adventure!

The apartment was clean, bright and airy on the 5th floor of an older walk up building in the heart of the Lisbon historic district. It was quiet for sleeping, well equipped, and Miguel was a very kind, generous and accommodating host, meeting us at check in and touring us through the apartment. Lots of restaurants and sights in the neighbourhood.

That I couldn't stay longer.

Everything, it was clean and very well equipped and fantastically located.. I loved the decor, the art, the lounge. It was very comfortable and felt like home. I sadly only stayed a few days but you could easily base yourself here for a longer stay. There are a number of stairs but I am 60yrs old and managed them easily . I was travelling solo and the apartment felt safe and the entrance was well lit. Miguel was an excellent host If you are lucky enough for this to be available don't hesitate to book it There are lots of restaurants and major sights close by and it was easy to find and gain entry.

We loved everything.

Everything! Miguel is the most gracious host and changed his plans to accommodate us arriving quite early. He gave us so many recommendations! He was extremely responsive, the place was spotlessly clean and comfortable and he even help us carry our bags up the stairs (5 flights) but worth it! My wife sprained her ankle on the last day of the trip (walking on the cobblestone streets) and he helped us find a place where we can but an ace bandage and crutches and he woke up super early to help us carry our bags down. The place is awesome, Miguel is awesome. Lisbon is AWESOME! Just book this place, it’s near EVERYTHING!!!! Safe, beautiful neighborhood in the heart of it all!

There was no such a thing. Everything was amazing!!

Everything was perfect! The owner was very nice and helpful. By our arriving he show us around the apartment, send us recommendations for restaurants and supermarkets nearby and another information about landmarks we could visit. He gave us also extra things that could make our stay easier, for example cards for the public transport. The communication with him was amazing, he was replying immediately and in details. He even answered me a lot of questions before our holiday. He sent us a lot of information for how to reach the apartment and booked us a taxi for the airport when we were leaving. He lives in the same building and for us it was very good. We have never met such a nice host before. The apartment was incredible. It was very clean and there was absolutely everything you can need - everything that you need in the kitchen, coffee, tea, in addition hairdryer, iron, additional towels and blankets. There is a police station next to the apartment so it is very safe even in the evening. It is around 3 minutes walking distance to the Rua Augusta Arch. It is near the city center but it is also very quite and calm - there is no noice that could disturb you at night. Top place we've ever stayed in. We higly recommend it!

A beautiful apartment ideally located for trams, metro, buses and the amaizing sights of Lisbon. The Host was amazing! He provided a comprehensive list of places to visit as well organising a taxi to the airport. He also provided us with a generous welcome package and was available to respond to any queries we had, He made a wonderful stay even better!

Tight bathrooms, but this is our first trip to Portugal, and perhaps this is normal. We easily made-do.

Miguel was the perfect host!! Attentive and helpful, with excellent written and verbal (via phone as needed) directions for easily getting to the apartment from the airpirt, and tourist recommendations for enjoying a true taste of Lisbon in a short amount of time (5 days). He knows his city and his guests! The bathrooms were tight, but certainly serviceable for our familiy's needs on a short stay. We would definitely stay at Miguel's warm, welcoming accommodations if we are lucky enough to see the lovely city of Lisbon again--We hope to come back!!
