We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PortugalEvery hotel needs renovation at some point. The pool area at this hotel is in urgent need of updating for the summer! The structures need to be puttied and painted, and there are also no beach umbrellas next to the sun loungers. breakfast is not varied enough.
Great location and hotel staff. The staff was always ready to help. Delicious lunches and dinners in the restaurant. The rooms are clean. I also think it was a big plus that you could stay with a dog.

United KingdomCertain facilities are lacking: lift, electric kettle. Room size can be challenging for families with kids. With exception of swimming pool, no other entertainment facilities for young children. If you are a foreign tourist and looking to move around, then best to rent a car as public transport including taxis can be challenging.
Nice and tranquil location; comforting view of Aveiro lagoons. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool is enjoyable.

United KingdomThere was no public area where we could sit with our dog. It would have been nice to sit in the bar area in the evening after dinner and enjoy a drink looking out at the view.
Really enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the opportunity to try the national royal cake (almond). Good, wide choice. We had half board and found the dinners excellent, with a further opportunity to try local/national dishes. Our room was very good, with a private terrace close to the water and with a marvelous view. The complimentary box of dog goodies was a lovely surprise : our dog is still eating her way through the treats, which I am doling out slowly to make them last.! Great location, close to some good beaches and picturesque harbours, and the car ferry to Aviero. We saw nesting storks and flamingos in the wild.

United StatesLack of staff to keep the bar open, but the available staff were very nice. Also be advised that it takes about an hour to reach Aveiro itself by car, probably less by ferry. This is not necessarily bad if you like to see the local scenery.

United StatesOur room was clean but had a rather offensive musty smell. The bathroom was nice but the shower partition was inadequate and it was difficult not to get the bathroom wet while showering. The hotel is charming and old fashioned but also a bit dated. They could definitely upgrade the facilities.
The location was great. The service was very good. Friendly and super helpful staff. We did not have the water view from our room but the estuary is very beautiful. The hotel is a short distance from many spectacular beaches.
