The wine list could be improved. Also to get a decent wine instead of the house wine, you have to buy a bottle. They should at least sell vinho verde by the glass.

The place is so great at it was hard for us to get motivated to go out.

The place is amazing. We travel off season and the staff was extremely nice to upgrade our reservation for a large room with balcony and view on the sea. It was absolutely fabulous and we are extremely thankfull to them. All the staff (reception, bar at fire place, restaurant and cleaning personal) is super competent and friendly. The breakfast/brunch is fabulous. There is very nice easy walk starting next to the hotel door. Sagres beach is less than 10 min walking along the cliff.

We loved everything about our stay at the Pousada. The sunrise/sunset views from the balcony can only be beat by the views from the cliff a stones throw away. We started to talk about the Pousada in an ethereal way… as it is was the mystical place that made our stay in Sagres unforgettable.

One small point- there’s coffee in the room and herbal teas but no regular black tea. Also no milk or creamer.

There was nothing we did not like about the property.

A spectacular property on the edge of a cliff. It was beautifully appointed and had a lovely restaurant and bar. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were extremely accommodating. We had a large room with a view of the Fortress and the most southwesterly point of land. Room was well appointed and had a small balcony perfect for sipping a glass of wine. Staff were excellent. They could not do enough for us. Diego, one of the staff members helped us chart our entire stay in the Algarve pointing out places and restaurants we might not have considered. Nothing is too far away in this region so day trips are possible. There is also great hiking close by. We highly recommend.

Location, location. Fantastic ocean views. Peaceful, serene, old time feel. 2d time we've stayed here. Would heartily recommend. Airy bedrooms, roomy balcony. A hidden gem in our estimation.

The dinner was really long and under our expectations. They probably met a problem in the kitchen because they apologize a lot after dinner.

The view was nice , over the sea and the land, as expected. Room and bathroom clean. The hotel is quite far from the center of the little town Sagres.
