The mattress in our room could need a replacement. The food in the restaurant is alright, but a bit overpriced.

Location of the hotel in the former monastery and views are great. Really nice indoor pool.

The breakfast needs to be much, much better. Coffee was undrinkable. Often the Buffett was rather empty and we had to keep asking for items. For a Pousada of that pice we were very disappointed with the breakfast. Something I looked forward to a lot!

Comfort throughout. A very relaxing few days with great and unobtrusive staff.

Lots of things are just wrong or bad here. Inside the long and dark corridors are loads of steps at different height at times. Added to that the floors are dark grey and only some steps have feeble light at night. It is needed all day, there is little natural light. Low archways and no handrail on steep stairs, lift only working on 2 occasions. The bedroom has just a daft design. Lovely sized room, beautiful view over the hills with view of Arraiolos village, nice veranda and then ... The veranda door opens into the room, not out of the way against the wall. Between the door and the large floor to ceiling window is a small desk, good. But the main window is covered with plain wood shutters, maybe oak, but looking like plywood. These shutters also stick into the room when open enclosing the desk into a box. When you need/want to close them you have to move the 2 armchairs and table well out of the way, right up to the bed in fact and than put it all back again. As said, utter daft design. Bathroom is huge, has no ventilation as a result there is mold growing on the walls. Shower is useless, no handrail to climb out of the bath onto a now soaked polish marble floor. The food was just plain awful and took 1 1/2 hour to arrive. There were 2 other guest so not exactly overly busy for the cook.

Very pretty location, very peaceful. The building is beautiful kept and clean. The staff was very friendly. Has huge potential but is not there yet.

We had one light dinner, with 2 soups and two starters and it was disastrous: mediocre food and a long wait. The Pousada also needs a proper revamp as the structure and the furniture in the rooms look tired and battered. It's a shame if you don't do it as this is a wonderful place. The pigeons are a serious problem and the grass around the pool needs a better care. These are in essence details that can be easily fixed and give this property the care it deserves.

The location is perfect, secluded and quiet. The Convent is beautiful, especially the breathtaking tiled church.

The complex system for cancelling the amount reserved in the credit card for extras. This is a normal procedure in hotels around the world, but normally is done automatically without complexity. Maybe a new agreement with your bank can solve it and would speed up check-out.

Very nice staff, very nice pool, lovely building and wonderful views. All necessary to relax

This pousada's peaceful setting with sheep grazing on the opposite hillside was a welcome change from the energetic ambiance of Lisbon. It's a good place to headquarter while you explore the villages of the Alentejo region. And the inside of the convent's chapel is completely covered in blue-and-white tile. Breathtaking!
