Really lovely place in a beautiful, quiet location – perfect if you're looking to relax away from the crowds. The pool was a real highlight, and since there weren’t many guests around, even our little one could enjoy it fully – including the occasional jump in (which is probably not officially allowed 😅). We had a great time!

Very loud 730 am hedge-trimming! Difficult to find staff at times. Dinner reservation made but then forgotten. Rooms are nice but lack some amenities for comfort. Very uncomfortable seats on balconies, lack of counter space and hooks to hang things. Only one chair in room.

Incredibly beautiful facility and location, sparkling clean, delicious food, enjoyable on-site recreation (swimming pool, billiard table, etc).

In the villa the double bed is actually a twin bed and the mattress is mooving and seperate.

The property is located in the upper side of the valley just near Lamego. The quinta is far from the village and on a quiet lovely place. It has a good spa, a swimming pool and a public cozy place with pool table and games. The breakfast is good. We had a 3 rooms and the villa. The rooms and the villa are big and comfortable.

Our room was a bit basic. A bit more light, slightly better equipped kitchenette and a small wardrobe would have made a difference. If the weather had been better though, we probably would not have cared so much.

The staff are very friendly. They really made an effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Also, the quinta is beautifully located. Breakfast is excellent!

We had the whole hotel to ourselves as it was the low season and mid week. We were so welcomed and the service and hosting was amazing. Spa and sauna such a nice touch for a relaxing time in the Douro. Food was so good too and a lot of it. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area again

A pearl in the heart of Douro Valley. This place is out of the way, but so worth it! Hospitality was amazing. We stayed in the suites that are next to the running stream. We heard it running all night. The spa was cozy after a long day in the rain. Breakfast was a feast. It was off-season, so we were the only guests. From May to October they are generally at a full booking.. I can understand why. Highly recommend!!

the road leading to the farm is a bit scary if you are not used, especially at night.

one of the most beautiful farmstays we ever stayed at. the surrounding nature was amazing. we really enjoyed the breakfast and also made well use of the jacuzzi in the spa area. the staff is very helpful and did their best to advise us on activities in the area.

The young lady that checked us in was so kind and helpful. She is a star! Breakfast was great and it was fantastic to be able to sit outside and enjoy nature! It felt like it was our home in Portugal. It has a lovely homey vibe.

The rooms were a bit dark, and no refrigerators. Sometime hard to locate staff outside of check in/out times. It’s kids friendly so if you look for complete relaxation at the pool you might get unlucky.

The overall place is amazing and beautiful surroundings. The pool area was great. Staff was friendly and the kitchen made good food for dinner.

We had a misunderstanding with regards to dinner. There was no cook there that night so we were told they had snacks. But we ended up getting tapas. The tapas were nice and not what we were thinking when we heard snacks. All freshly prepared and tasty. Better to speak of home made tapas instead of snacks!

It's a little family run hotel. Very much in the middle of nowhere in the green. Very nice. Nice private spa. If they are not fully booked you can use it for las long as you like, also at night which was very nice. Nice breakfast.

The bathroom in our door had a wall made of glass, meaning that you could not really do your "business" in there in private. Can be good to know if you share the room with someone. This was not an issue for us though, especially as the glass wall was facing the hall and not the room itself. It felt luxurious at the same time with it's modern touch. A good solution could be to fix a curtain for example. Also missed some hangers for our clothes in the hallway. Small details but that makes a difference!

My partner and I were lucky to have the entire hotel and spa for ourselves before a big holiday weekend. The staff is so lovely and made us feel so welcome at at home. The spa was cozy with a sauna, hot jacuzzi and turkish bath, and the staff even filled the entire spa with candles for us. The outdoor pool was cold and perfect for cold dips in the rain (strongly recommend this!). After the spa we had a 3-course dinner with delicious homemade dishes and local wine. The restaurant is like a restaurant / living room with a little bar, pool table, fire place, sofas etc. The facilities were great, we really loved this. Our room was beautiful and with a balcony facing the greenery outside, and you could even hear the stream. To finish off our stay we got an amazing big breakfast, just for the two of us! We really got a 5* treatment here. Loved the location near to Lamego, and yet in a calm place on the countryside. Thank you so much, we will be back!
