Firstly when we checked in we were given a card to access our room, once we passed the card on the lock and entering the room it was clearly being used by someone else with clothes and perosnal items laying around and could have been extremely embarrassing for us and the person staying in the room if we had entered with them inside. We left immediately to go get another room as clearly there had been a mistake. The second room we were given was okay. The mattress was covered in hairs and dust. The bed frame too. The sheets didnt fit the bed properly so they were constantly sliding down. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner as we found hairs on floor, and the airco unit wasn't working well as it was buzzing all through the night even though it was switched off. I don't understand how it's considered a 4 star. And I don't think we will stay here again and I feel there are better options for around that price range.

Can't think of anything Never had a bad experience with any of the people I encountered in the 35 years I come to Portugal with over 18 travels in the last 10 years.

Staff all super nice which is in Portugal overall normal .. regular visitor opinion Location Hotel good for us as we had a rental car. Surprise was that nearby large shopping center was open till 23:00 ! one rainy evening made for a nice time spent there incl. a Steak House meal.. Breakfast was with fresh produce and much appreciated by us ( English breakfast choice was not the same ) but we didn't mind. I opted for a de-luxe double with extra m3 and was not disappointed as we got a top floor corner room with windows at two sides ! which made it spacious and a view to the ocean AND to the main bridge in Lisbon, very pleased !! I chose the Hotel a.o. because it had garage parking for only 4 euro a day but at the time we were there I could find free parking every day at the Hotel or in the direct neighborhood.

I don't love the shower in the bath. Recommend replacing the bathtubs with a shower, would be more in line with the 4 stars.

Car park directly under the hotel. The cuisine in the restaurant is excellent, but the spaghetti bolognese needs some improvement. The breakfast was above average by Portuguese standards, bravo!

Great value for the price. Excellent breakfast, better than most places I've stayed. Very good water pressure in the shower and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend.

1. No tee spoons; however, kettle and some tee/coffee options were provided. Question, how I should prepare? With a finger? 2. Boring breakfast options... Although it wouldn't be a problem if the coffee maschine could produce more or less drinkable drinks. It's very untasty. 3. On the question of please prepare a normal coffee, I will pay, the personal refused, saying, that they are bad in making coffee.

The location isn’t great of you don’t have a car. Luckily we did so we could get about easily.

It was a quiet hotel - and I really liked the fact the restaurant was open all day. We arrived at 1630 and were starving after travelling, and it was really nice to be able to get a meal easily.

The staff could be nicer.. The lady from the morning was rude and barely saw us.. Doesn't hurt smile a bit sometimes.. The cleaning inside the room also is not the best.. So don't expect to much from it..

Pool was ice cold but probably just the location. Fridge could be cleaned...was smelly. No kids options re food, adult size portions went to waste. Rooms bit dated, but, clean.

The only thing that I would change is coffee machines in the restaurant. Good coffee is a very important part of breakfast. I tried to pick americano, cappuccino. Both did not taste like coffee. So my husband and me went to drink a coffee in cafeteria near by. Melon also was not fresh.

The room is very nice and clean! Sheets are with a very good quality! comfortable bed! And it was very quite at night.

The unavailability of the swimming pool down to maintenance for the whole stay was a disappointment as it would have been a perfect way to relax, although the weather wouldn't have allowed a daily use anyway.

The breakfast buffet offers plenty of possibilities to choose from although the possibility to choose for another type of egg dish should be given. The same choice came every day. Good bakery display.
