black mold in the shower, broken shower head, ants in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed AND, overheard that BED BUGS were reported a floor above me. seems the staff knew that the room had been infested, supposedly it was treated, but i heard it being reported to desk staff. at first, they were reluctant to remove charges🤭 thankfully, i check EVERYWHERE i go before putting any of my belongings near upholstery.

The street in front of the hotel can be very noisy (?? students) into the early hours of the morning. However, considering the location and having a quiet second evening made up for the interrupted sleep on our first day.

Parking demarcated for the hotel was available at 5 Euro per day and within 50 meters. Wonderful city where you can follow an amazing historical timeline.

We had a room on the first floor on the street side, and it turned out that the street was very noisy (screaming and shouting people at night). I recommend to book a room on the other side of the hotel if possible. The breakfast was quite limited and the staff at breakfast were not very kind. The staff at the reception were on the other side very friendly. Parking at this location is also limited.

The location of the hotel is just great - once you step out of the front door you are in the middle of the city center.

Wi-fi access is very limited. You need a separate code for every device and they need to be renewed after each use! This should be modernised. Also, we had one night of interrupted sleep due to street noise -drunken shouting and singing that went on for 2 hours. Not something the hotel can solve -but consider asking for a room not facing the street.

Being on the walking street also meant that there was a great deal of noise in our room. Best to ask for an inside room for that reason, although then you would miss the view. The beds were a little hard and utilitarian. Also, there are no elevators and that means a lot of climbing up and down stairs to get to your room; those who have difficulty with this will want to book elsewhere.

This hotel is in a great location at the center of the city -- easy walking everywhere, and you feel like you are right in the middle of the action because you are on one of the major walking streets down to the primary square in the middle of the city. Staff was not very friendly. We were supposed to have a parking space reserved but when we got there all the spots were taken. The guy said people that are not from the hotel also park there and in order to park we would have to call the police to the the other cars from there. Since it was a weekend he said it "should" not be a problem parking in resident spaces. And that is what we did for the first night. But we were a little worried since he wasn't sure it would be ok. It ended up being fine and we were able to move the car the next morning too the designed parking space. But I think they should be more rigid on who can park on their spots.

The hotel is located in a walking area in the market of old city, so it took us quite some time to find the hotel.

Good hotel at the heart of the old city of Evora. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good and clean rooms. Parking is available but limited and costs some extra money.

WiFi a pain in the arse to use as you have to re-log in after any period of inactivity. Staff OK but not overly helpful.

Central location with little or no traffic. Reasonable cost. Reasonable breakfast. Good facilities, clean large room, comfortable. Parking provided near the hotel.

A few ants in the bathroom were an unexpected neighbors.

The hotel is located in an old historic building in the heart of the city. To the size of the room there are no complaints, and the bathroom can be called large, which is unusual for Portugal. The furniture in the hotel is old, but in very good condition. Bed and pillows were comfortable, room is always clean. The breakfast was good and with excellent coffee. Frontdesk managers Raul and Carlos are very attentive, friendly and helpful. They both speak good English. I would like to stay again in this old historical place.

No elevators, so maybe a challenge for those who have difficulty with stairs or with large luggage.

In the midst of old town, so easy to walk to historical sites, restaurants, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend Cafe Atelentajo for supper.
