Perhaps a little out of town but that’s not the properties fault

Our room was never cleaned during our two-night stay, and water was not refilled. The walls are very thin, so you can hear people walking in the corridor (not a major thing as the hotel is very small but to take into consideration). Breakfast was disappointing. I would not recommend booking it. The coffee and croissants were of poor quality, there was very little variety, and the only egg option was scrambled (and not very tasty).

Wonderful location, beautiful design of hotel and rooms, comfortable bed. The lady at reception was lovely, helpful and accommodating. She recommended to us lots of restaurants and places to visit.

Room layout was not good. Large tables and set up made small room even smaller.

Breakfast was good. Mix of fresh fruits and bread products. Machine coffee was not too bad either. Pool area was pleasant. Staff were lovely. Evening dinner at the hotel was very good.

The decor was romantic. The staff were very kind and understanding. I liked that the towels were large and thick. I liked that there was a large bottle of water for free in the room and the charging points next to the bed. I liked that you also offered scrambled eggs as an extra option and had fresh pastries too. The coffee was excellent :)

One of my favorite hotels in Sintra. I’ve stayed here a few times, and I love that it’s a boutique hotel — quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. The style reflects the essence of the city, making it feel very organic. The hotel is full of charming, stylish details, like a little castle. Lovely service, everything is clean and high-quality in the rooms. Definitely recommend!

Note that there are no elevators which was a slight issue for us as we'd been traveling for 2 weeks and had large suitcases to hall up a few flights of stairs. Other than that minor issue, everything was lovely.

Small and well appointed, this is a very cute hotel, the decor is old world but not run down, the rooms are bigger than I expected and the bathroom was updated with everything in working order. Area was quiet even though there are several restaurants nearby. They provide breakfast as well.

The pool was somewhat smaller and cooler than expected. The breakfast was nice but a bit too simple.

The house is like an old British manor with very few rooms and a large library accessible to all.

They did keep us waiting a bit at the entrance to check in. Staff seems minimal with lots to manage - breakfast, cleaning and guest requests. The pool is small for the hotel size especially when things close due to fire risk. They charge for coffee pods. No fridge in the room to chill beverages after a long hot day of walking.

The breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs and yogurt on request. The decor was charming for the area/era.

The hole is very charming with very beautiful decoration and themes, and it is located not far for one of the main axes into Sintra city centre. There are lots of small restaurants and coffee places on the vicinity as well. The staff was absolutely spectacular, with particular mentions to Leticia and Jessica, who went the extra mile to make us fill well looked after and welcome!

No kettle in the room. The doors are thin so there’s noise from other guests in the hallway.
