The beds and pillows are extremely comfy. The room is basic and clean and has good facilities. We bought breakfast on top of our room rate and thought it was good value for money. Good choice. Nice presented and fresh.

Room had a strong tobacco smell. Airco was not working. Cover from the toilet seat was loose. Water leaking from the douche beneath the glass to the bathroom floor.

Nothing really, the rooms were clean but not spacious, the breakfast was OK but overall I didn't find anything that was wrong

Sometimes the staff are more important than the hotel, and this was so with this place, Rita was outstanding on reception, friendly and smiling, all the staff were pleasant and the location was superb right in the heart of the old town

Artificial light in room was very dim, after sunset the room was a bit too dark.

Breakfast was very good! Very nice orange freshly pressed and espresso machine, with local patisserie. Location is also optimal, just a few meters away from the city center and the harbor. The Team working at the location is welcoming and helpful!

The location is really central, like 5 minutes walking from Arco Da Vila and the Marina so the position is excellent and super comfortable if you want to go for dinner and have a walk at night time and don't want to use a lot of transports generally speaking. The breakfast does not give a big choice to hosts in my opinion, especially when it comes to salty options there is just ham and cheese, not even eggs. It was the only negative point of my stay I highly reccommend to the staff to implement it and the girls who are there for breakfast should be more smiling.

Carpet was very stained, rooms look like they needs some tlc, the noisiest extractor fans I've ever come across, in both rooms! Shower edge was off putting as it was mouldy. Noisy outside and some noisy guests at 3am, but not the hotels fault. Staff not very friendly on arrival, unable to give us rooms next to each other which was a pain as my clothes were in the other room. No remote for the a/c.

The facilities were not dirty but are aged and need replacing. The rooms are no way near being sound proof. There is a lot of noise at night from the surrounding area that you can hear clearly.

Was disappointed when we discovered there was tea and coffee making facilities but no satchets of anything. We bought coffee and small cartons of long life milk ,as there was no fridge. We asked for sugar and were given 2 satchets, for a 4 night stay. We discovered on our last day a little cafe directly across the road serving lovely coffee ,no idea how we missed that 1

They should be more flexible with the check in. Leave luggage in locker until check in to start the city visit without the luggage

Location was great, close to mayor attractions walkable. The size of the room was fair , just what we needed, just enough space to rest and take a shower. Breakfast was great, easy to start the day adventure with your tummy full. Plenty to choose from.

It would be good to have a small fridge to leave some water bottles, especially when there are hot temperatures.
