The rooms are outdated but we didn't spend much time in them anyway.

The breakfast had quite a bit of variety, the staff was great, it's right next to a mall and bus stop which is really convenient. The indoor and outdoor pools are fun, and there's natural ocean pools 10 minutes walking away. The room had a fully equipped kitchenette which is handy for those travelling with kids.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything. The hotel is spacious with a large garden, 2 excellent swimming pools and a large sunbathing area. It provides an exceptional breakfast, catering for all tastes. Good evening live entertainment and bar facilities.

The room decor looks a bit dated but I was happy with it.

The hotel is exactly as advertised the rooms are spacious I had a lovely view from the balcony. It was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good it was exactly what you would expect for a decent price and I would go back. Location was only a 5 minute walk to views over the beach and beautiful sunsets and a 7minute drive to Funchal.

It was perfect, the facilities were undersold. They had an indoor and outside pool which was amazing. For the price it's a steal! I would definitely come back. Although it's a bit outside the centre of Funchal, the bus takes you in for 2Eur in 20 mins max.

Breakfast got very busy especially around 7.30am, we sometimes had to wait for a table to become available

I didn't like the carpet from hallway because have stain and it smells bad The mattress on the bed was put in plastic wrap and makes you sweat Some of the staff were not kind and made inappropriate jokes. when we had dinner we found very long hair in seafood rice

The location is great, closer to The Forum shopping, bus stop, 23 min from the airport.

Huge choice for breakfast, nice service, big hotel but you dont feel crowded, central, close to a mall, also nice spa with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Also outside pool. Very polite and profesional staff, always helpfull!

The hotel is a bit far away from Funchal, but there is direct bus connection both the the city center and to the airport

Overall very nice hotel. With a gorgeous view over the ocean. Breakfast was ok. The room was very spacious. Good Wifi. The bus stop (buses from the airport and Funchal city center) is very close to the hotel. Price/quality ratio was pretty decent

Is not I didn't like, perhaps is more an advice for the management The hotel furniture deserves a refreshing change... everything in the ground floor bar and rooms looks quite old and broken The sofas were not close to being comfortable... the curtains in the rooms were very dirty, needs a good wash or exchange as well ... I can not understand why the hallway carpets look like suffered some sort of huge water leak and all carpet are left stained In general, the Hotel looks good, but needs a huge refreshing change A lot of room to improve We will be back possibly 😀

Dated and worn elements took away from the overall experience. Some beds were too firm, others uneven (sunk in the middle due to wear. Coffee machines at breakfast dispensed instant coffee. Stove in the kitchenette of one of our suites did not work (we needed it primarily to boil water for tea).

Spacious suite with 2 separate rooms connected by a hallway with shared bathroom was well-suited to traveling with children. Excellent indoor and outdoor pool facilities were also a highlight. Breakfast buffet with great variety of foods. Great value for the money in a great location.

The water could be warmer in the jacuzzi.

We liked the large room, just what we wanted. The excellent, ample breakfast, with exeptional choice and variety. The swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor are splendid. As good as any hotel in Funchal, regardless of price.
