The air conditioning in rooms is old kind, I think a central system, even though rooms are kind of modern. So for heating our air conditioner in the room did not work, and it was still cold at night. That is the only think we did not like is the heating and we really needed it.

Location is great, can walk to everything. Also have a nice cafe at the hotel for snacks, meals, tea etc. Staff always available and very attentive.

As I mentioned to the front desk, the shower head mount would not hold the shower head in place. It would quickly point straight down because the weight of the shower head would pull itself down in the mount. Small thing, but a pain to take a shower

Suggestion: I would suggest to create a demo for the guests on how to park and how to get to the hotel from the parking. Receptionist gave instruction but I was struggling to come out of the parking and get in to the hotel during the night time. Even though Parking was 2 floors down from the reception, I have to go outside of the street and come back through reception during the night time and I was too tired. I would appreciate if someone take care for it (either video or color printouts) to educate their guests.

The noise on the street, it is a very busy location. Had we known, we would have asked for a room on the opposite side of the building. Breakfast could definitely be better.

It is a bit dated, and can do with a renovation of some areas. But, for the price, I think it offers a great level of comfort and service.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was good value for money. These is an underground parking garage behind the hotel, and a discounted rate is offered to hotel guests. It makes parking in this part of town very convenient.

In the evening there was an unexplainable strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. It seemed to be coming through the ventilation system (vent above the room door). As there are no smoking rooms or areas in the hotel, one can assume it was from people on the street, perhaps standing near an uptake vent from the hotel (?).

The room was large and bright with a nice sitting area and a great view of the old town.

they had no kettle to make tea. There was coffee pods but we don't drink coffee and we reallly would have liked the ablitity to make a cup of tea in the morning. Even if they had a kettle and tea at the front desk to use would have worked too.

Silly windows without soundproofing, so if someday decides to rest in the park on the backyard you will hear everything they’re talking about.

Check-out staff (only one receptionist, who was on the phone while leaving guests had to wait to check out; breakfast - watered orange juice (mediocre quality, unacceptable), poor choice of fruit, the lack of a real espresso machine.
