Not really a complaint - the hotel is on the main road around the island - this road has very little traffic, but if you leave your patio doors open and you are staying on the road side of the property then when, on the rare occasion a car does whiz by, it is a bit noisy. The trade off is worth it as you have an ocean view from that side and you can hear the waves crashing in the distance.

Room was nice size, clean, well appointed. Dinner was a bit expensive but very good. Waiter/bar staff were super nice and helped with our language barrier. We were easily able to communicate. Pool facilities looked nice - did not have time to use them.

The equipment is not new, what is OK. But it needs some maintenance. The bathroom was clean but there was a layer of limescale on and under the tap.

The room was comfortable, well equiped and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was OK. We had no issue find what we wanted during our 8 night stay.

The bed and the hole in the middle. Definitely not a 4 star bed. A couple wants a couple bed not a hole in the middle. Not even a sponge to cover it all. Thats part the most importante. Dispointed

Too expensive, but we booked last minute.

A decent hotel with good airconditioning, spacious room and bathroom. Our room faced the street, however, there is no street noise with windows closed. Staff was very friendly. There is a restaurant in town at walking distance. We had to check out very early and received packed breakfast to take away.

Breakfast not at 4 stars - we have stayed on two other properties during our last trip to Azores (San Miguel) and this breakfast was below average. Everyday the same - scrambled eggs (on two (out of three) days not prepared properly, pancakes (some raw in the middle), etc.

we rented the hotel for the pool as my daughter loves the swim and since we were traveling in April the ocean was not an option. the outdoor pool was clean but it was still to cold as it was in the 60s for outdoor pool, the indoor pool looked very murky and we didn’t feel like it was a good idea to swim in it. that was a let down.

Location is great to visit the western and central parts of the island, but there is not much to do within walking distance if you liked taking strolls. The room was extremely humid, we reported the ventilator was not working; although it got repaired, it continued to barely function: towels and swimsuits were damp next day. The dinner at the restaurant is expensive with very small portions. There were bugs in this hotel, including rooms and corridors, there is space under the door. They clearly state they want to live in harmony with nature, which is kind, but some might be bothered.

The staff was amazingly kind. The indoor swimming pool water was super nice (28-29 C degrees). Coffee at breakfast was great (Nespresso pods). They provided vegan options at my request.

Well it’s a Family Hotel with infants/kids as well as parents und grandparents running around,clapping doors for fun and enjoying their family time.If you’re looking for a quite area this is not your hotel. The gym needs an update.

difficult to find it as there are no indications whatsoever in the street. Breakfast buffet was clearly understaffed: every day we had to ask for most of the basic things like cups, plates, curlery, yoghurt, butter, napkins etc.

Steam room didn't appear to be working. Hot breakfast wasn't fantastic - poor quality sausages and some things cold. Staff were not able to keep up we replenishing all crockery. Coffee machine stopped working regularly and hot milk urn not kept full.

Indoor and outdoor pool were great and hardly used by anyone else. Comfortable beds. Sauna was good. Staff who initially booked us in were extremely nice and friendly. Superb range of breakfast options.
