Hotel is nice, but rooms and other facilities look old in general, need renew (nothing wrong with old designs and historical buildings, but there is feeling that a refurbishment is required). Outdoor pools with stunning view to the sea, but they are a bit small for high season. Indoor pool, again with perfect view, but super small, no space for towels, not suitable for crowded days. Breakfast was nice (as usual for most VG hotels), but restaurant (night dinner) could have been better, not many options, food just ok.

The pillows were very poor quality and there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing

It was really hard to get a good night sleep—between people talking in other rooms and doors in the hallway being open and closed. I’m pretty sure the trash bins were emptied at 7am everyday!? Or something else that was quite loud at the same time everyday.

Beautiful location right on the coast. Very beautiful breakfast room and old style of a historic hotel. Had a lot of character.

Limited number of electricity sockets in room. Slow wifi. No smart TV or Chromecast possible. Restrictes opening hours of the swimming pool 10-7.

Dream location at the ocean. Special building and interior style. Nice room with great balcony view. Very friendly staff and room service. Unannounced arrival early check in help. Nice breakfast. Fair price.

I don't have any complaints.

The location was wonderful, right on the seafront. In the evening, we would relax on the deck and enjoy the sunset over the sea. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Several issues with the room door system, which was annoying. Also room service thought we were leaving a day earlier so the communication was not great.

The hotel is one of the oldest in Ericeira (probably the oldest) and now it would need a renovation: there is moquette everywhere, room safes are disabled since were originally with lock and keys, power outlets are far from the bed, bathrooms are old,... Nothing is in "critical"condition, but to be on par with the other options in the city (and with the price-quality of the rooms) it should be updated.

Hotel is located right in front of the sea, with the possibility to sleep listening the waves crushing on the rocks. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor pools, sunbeds and outdoor parking. Breakfast is good.

It's a pity that the rooms are a bit outdated, and they have carpet floors in stead of hardwood or stone. Not ideal, when you have respiratory issues.

Very nice location, close to the sea. Good breakfast. Nice bar. Free parking at the hotel (when you are lucky), or in the neighbouring streets.
